Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am thankful that I got to spend time with The Great One last Saturday. We made some pretty chocolate covered popcorn and adorable unicorn containers to put it in.

Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

2. I would gladly trade ________________ for _____________________.
3. It seems like only yesterday that _________.
4. If you offered me _________, I would _________.

    1. Thank you. 🙂 I only had a taste, but it was good. I am going to make some for the 4th of July in red, white and blue. XO

  1. We cannot say enough about the wonders that these kids are exposed to by their aunty Ellen. What incredible luck to have someone as creative and FUN to spend time with!!!Those unicorn containers have to be the sweetest idea ever for that popcorn…the faces, the golden “unicorns”, the contents (!) and the wonderful time spent with Ms E who thinks up such amazing things to do with kids. Papa said, “It’s an old-fashioned family. What lucky kids!” Hear, hear and hats off to Ms E.

  2. I am glad you had a fun time with The Great One. Those unicorn containers are cute.

  3. I know your nieces think you are the most amazing Aunt in the universe!!!! Your house has to be a “favorite destination” for the girls!

    Hugs, Pam

  4. I have thought the same as several people here have mentioned—that the girls (and baby boy too), are so fortunate to have their Auntie Ellen to do projects with and LEARN so many of these things; that one day, they can do the same things with their own children. And they’ll tell their children that when they were girls, they had a favorite Aunt that taught them fun and useful things they could do. I would have loved such adventures when I was a girl.

    1. Thank you. 🙂 You are too kind. I do hope they have good memories. XO

  5. The unicorn containers are darling! I know you and The Great One had the bestest time doing that together. TGO probably counldn’t wait to get started. I am wondering how much chocolated covered popcorn was munched!
