Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am thankful that The Great One had a half day of school, so I got to have her over for a visit.

This little skunk is thankful that The Great One was able to operate on his foot and reattach it.

We are also joining Angel Sammy’s Poetry Day.

Here is the photo prompt.:

Big sis thinks she is so cool and smart

she knows all the words to the movie by heart.
Just wait until she is in bed all snug
and finds that I left her a great big bug.

Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

1. I am going to ____________ on ___________________.

2.The worst _____________ is _____________.
3. From my experience, _________ is worth its weight in gold.
4. _________ does not work for me.
Be sure to stop by tomorrow to wish Elvira a Happy 13th Birthday.

    1. Thank you. 🙂 Skunk smells good because The Great One always covers him with body spray when he enters the clinic. 🙂 XO

  1. HAHAHAHA! What a perfect poem for the photo this week. Little brothers can be difficult – My Mom knows – she had a younger brother and they did like to “torture” each other. Anyway, we’re happy to hear that Surgeon Great One was able to perform an operation to reattach the skunk’s foot.

    Hugs, Teddy

  2. I nLOVE the poem which so matches those expressions on the kids. AND looks like you’re teaching The Great One to sew!!!

  3. So glad The Great One fixed the little skunk right up! That’s a great take on the photo… I don’t know about the bug though… hahaha. I was an only so it is always interesting to read things about siblings!

  4. Oh so glad Skunky got repaired and what a sweet poem ~ well sorta sweet ~ boy does look like the type who would put a bug in his sister’s bed ~

    1. Thank you. Sorry the comments disappear sometime- I don’t know what happens. Mr. Skunk is about 45 years old. I had him when I was a kid. XO

  6. Your skunk received great care, it’s clear.
And without doubt you are a wonderful dear.
If I could, I’d bring you here.
Or I would go there, and share much cheer.

    Much love, sweet Ellen.
