Hi everyone! Before we get started, please wish Elvira a Happy 13th Birthday!  I usually link to a post from her original blog, but when I tried to, I realized it is no longer there which made me very sad. Elvira got her rabies shot this past Monday and passed her exam with flying colors.

 

 

Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. My answers:
1. I am going to two basketball games on Saturday. Actually, one is just a practice because the 4-year-olds are just learning how to play.
2. The worst feeling is not being able to help a loved one get better.
3. From my experience, every cat is worth its weight in gold.
4. Yoga does not work for me. Everyone claims it is wonderful, but the one time I took a 6-week class I ended up with ulcerative colitis and never had a problem after the class was over.

And my flashback is from last February, my angel Sammy was posing with the puzzle heart wreath we made at Cat Scouts.

  4. Happy 13tth Birthday, Elvira!! That is great the the vet thought and realized you were purrfect!
    How sad that her first blog got taken down…sigh…

    That picture of Sammy with the heart, well, it is so intensely poignant.

    1. I am going to be able to go back to my work on Feb 16th, hopefully, and out of quarantine as well.
    2.The worst symptoms I had was a terrible sore throat but it is gone now, and the cough and congestion are improving.
    3. From my experience, colloidal silver is worth its weight in gold, along with Oregano oil and other herbal remedies for flu symptoms..
    4. But zinc does not work for me. Instead it makes me feel terribly nauseous, even if I use it with food. Other immune boosters seem to work better for me.

  7. Happy birthday to Elvira! I couldn’t get on with yoga either. It didn’t make me ill, but I just couldn’t get into the positions no matter how I tried.
    That is a sweet flashback of Angel Sammy.

  8. Happy Birthday Elvira!! We have our Valentine’s wreath from last year’s Scouts Craft Project on our front door……As for a basketball game with four year olds – THAT has GOT to be fun to watch!

  15. 1. I am going to clean up lots of dust on the weekend. The construction is almost done.
    2.The worst experience is rude drivers. There are so many.
    3. From my experience, kindness is worth its weight in gold.
    4. Our current politicians does not work for me. I’m talking about both sides of the aisle. It’s a clown show.

    TW thought she was the only one who had thought with yoga. She took a class when she was younger and would get nose bleeds after every class. She quit the class and the nose bleeds stopped.

  34. Happy 13th Birthday Elvira
    Ellen my neighbor and I took yoga once. Geeeeez Louise that lady burned scented candles and I cannot tell you how hard it was to breath. I don’t like nor use anything scented.
    We took out place way back in the back of the room but they were still too stinky
