Thankful Thursday

We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.I am thankful that Joanie’s bloodwork was good. Also thankful that Emmy’s appointment with the internist wasn’t as bad as I was expecting. She is very thin and I feared the vet would think it was time to say goodbye.  The good news is there was no fluid by her heart, the bad news is her kidney values are worse. We are going to try less of the diuretic, and she has a different phosphorous binder to try. Please keep my sweet girl in your prayers.

And Emmy is happy that her Dad bought a new table for her to stand on. When she gets hungry, she stands on his tv tray, but it is wobbly and she fell off of it today. Luckily, she landed on her feet. He went right to Walmart after that and bought a sturdy table so that won’t happen again.

Sorry, I skipped the poem this week. My mind was preoccupied with worrying about Emmy.

Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

1. A recent earworm I had was _________________.
2. I have no interest in reading ___________________.
3. I would give _________ in exchange for _________.

  4. All things considered I’d say Emmy got a pretty good report – she’s hanging in there because she WANTS to stay and that’s super important! How nice that her Dad got her a special table to stand on so she can be by her Dad AND get her snacks too!

    Hugs, Teddy
