Hi everyone. We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am thankful I will get to take The Great One’s first day of  school ( Kindergarten) photo today. I am thankful I was able to take her mom’s photo every first day from preschool to college. I don’t have many online, but I  found September 2009, her last year of college when she was commuting.

And Sammy and Joanie are happy it is their birthday month . Their birthday is September 30th and they will have a big sweet 16 party.

We are joining the poetry day named after Teddy’s angel brother Sammy ‘s Poetry Day. Here is the photo prompt provided:

I’m on my way to play bagpipes in a show. 
I was not expecting the wind to blow. 
Good thing under my kilt my briefs I wore

  3. We have a gotcha day near the end of Sept…and in a few days, Niece #3 will have her BD…she’s in college now.
    First days of anything are always important!

    Kids grow up fast, don’t they? It’s so nice you’ve had such an active part in your niece and grandniece’s life. I know they love it, too. Your poem put a smile on my face. I’m glad the dude was wearing briefs, too. lol I hope Sammy and Joannie’s have a mewvalous “Sweet 16th” birthday bash! 😽🎉🎂
