Hi everyone! Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. My answers:
1. Playing with The Great One is more fun than a barrel of monkeys.
2.  One should take time to be thankful for something every day.
3. I hesitate to get some estimates for painting some of our ceilings because I fear it will be too expensive.
4. Is it time for flannel sheets yet? I can’t wait.

    1.Some aspects of my work are more fun than a barrel of monkeys.
    2. One should take time to give thanks and to pray for others every day.
    3. I hesitate to transplant some of my garden plants, because I won’t be able to tend them when I go to DC next week. (they have to be moved to make way for the concrete slab we are installing for a new shed…)
    4. Is it time for the cool crisp days of fall, yet?

  5. I bet playing with The Great One IS a lot of fun! Trying to get any contractor to do work is an impossible wait around here, I agree with your #2. Angel Phoebe, such a sweetie.

    1. Watching kittens on 24/7 livestreams is more fun than a barrel monkeys.
    2. One should take time to write down a few things that make them happy and/or thankful every day.
    3. I hesitate to take a trip to Missouri because I may not want to come back. Ha!
    4. Is it time for rainy season to be over yet?

  7. Sweet photo! Yes, won’t be long before we need the flannel sheets. Last few nights have been chilly here.

  14. What a gorgeous photo of Angel Phoebe!! And Mom loves your fill-ins. She is the ceiling painting (and the walls and the cupboards). She wanted to hire a contractor but those that will come to our teeny tiny community want too much money. Mom can do it, it will just take longer…and she can’t wait to find some new fleece sheets!

  17. What an adorable pic of Angel Phoebe!
    TW uses jersey cotton sheets all year long. She says they’re more comfy and not as scratchy as flannel and they’re not as cold as pima cotton. They’re hard to find in nice colors but I enjoy laying on them too.
    We need a nice dishwasher badly but don’t want to spend the $$ right now.

  20. Good luck with the ceilings. I know, home repair can be so expensive. And I totally agree about the flannel sheets, they are wonderful. Even here in FL, I’m waiting for time. Probably about Nov.

    2. One should take time be sincerely grateful for what they have including friends and family.
    3. I hesitate to do too much in fitness activity even though it feels so good. The next day, not so much.

  24. Gosh, I’m in the way-back machine, remembering playing with “A Barrel Full Of Monkeys” game as a kid! I think they are in the Toy Story film series.

  26. I love the feel of flannel sheets so much so that we just keep them on the bed year round! Thanks for hosting the Friday fun and I’m sorry for not getting over here before now.
