Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone!  We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop

Sammy is thankful he got first dibs at the new toy I made. Can anyone guess what it is supposed to be?

I am thankful for my wonderful hubby. Today is the 31 year anniversary of our first date.

We are also joining  Sammy’s Poetry Day. Here is my poem to go with this photo prompt provided by Teddy’s mom:

He planned a perfect romantic night

out on a boat with a hanging light.
He forgot one thing- a mosquito net
it was definitely a night they would not forget.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

Your poem is great, yup, the little pesky mosquitos are such a nuisance. I like how you tied that in with your own first date…were there mosquitos then too to pester you??
They are rampant here right now, due to the very wet spring we had. Ugh.

  23. Ooh, it looks like a spider to me, and i like arachnids.

Great poem, happy first date anniversary! Please tell us your first date wasn’t like that.

  24. Happy First Date Anniversary! And yes, we are thinking that is the evil virus there in that toy.

  28. Sammy, are you exterminating the coronavirus for us? You’re our hero! And your poem is, as always, so fun and clever! Mosquitoes would be happy to ruin a magical boat ride like that, wouldn’t they? Purrs to all of you! And, of course, happy 31st dateaversary!
