Friendly Fill-Ins Week 211

Time for the Friendly Fill-Ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link ( see below) to the hop so everyone can visit you.

1. __________________ is like trying to nail jello to a wall.

2. _______________never _______________________.
3. If I had a dollar for every time _________, I would be rich.
4. I wish _________ grew on trees.
My answers:
1. Trying to get cats to get along is like trying to nail jello to a wall.  Brody always provokes Sammy, Penny chases Trouble and Joanie, Trouble chases Joanie- and on and on.
2. Looting is never acceptable. I can understand the protesting, but not the looting.
If i had a dollar for every time I scooped cat litter, I would be rich.
4. I wish money grew on trees.
We are also joining Create With Joy’s Friendship Friday and Feline Friday currently hosted by Comedy Plus.
Here is a flashback from June 2015- Angels Phoebe and Lucy enjoying some cat grass.
Before we go, we want to offer our prayers to our friend, Harvey at Dash Kitten blog. He is not feeling well.

  1. Lovely pictures of Angels Phoebe and Lucy. ❤
Harvey is in my thoughts and prayers 🙏

  2. Sending purrs to Harvey.

    1. Trying to get Dalton to trust his pawppy, is like trying to nail jello to a wall.

    2. I never really understand the reason that protesters think it is OK to ruin or steal everything .
    3. If I had a dollar (or plumbers wages), for every time I unplug toilets at my work, I would be rich. For real!! MOL!
    4. I wish geese that lay golden eggs grew on trees.

    1. Thank you for these great answers. That is too bad that Dalton is still afraid of his pawpy. Have a nice weekend. XO

  3. Lovely flashbacks of your Angels.
Good fill ins. Looting is never ever acceptable, and protesters would get the message across much better if their protests were peaceful instead of rioting.

  4. I find multiple cat dynamics fascinating. When Bear was homeless, he seemed to be terrified of the other feral cats. But with Kitty and Ellie inside, he never hesitated to be alpha cat. I wouldn’t ever have suspected Penny chases her fursibs! See?! Fascinating!

  5. Great filling in today………..they were fun sentences to do this week!!! Thanks to you and Lorianne for co-hosting this weekly event – we enjoy it a LOT…….

    Hugs, Teddy

  6. Sweet Angels and that pots are so cute💗That were great answers, Ellen, a money tree…that one goes on to my wish list…MOL…We like to participate today too, so we’re in…MOL😸Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend🐾😽💞

  7. Praying Harvey gets well soon.

Your answers are just right, some cat is always going to not like at least one other cat and some person is always willing to start trouble that doesn’t need starting..

  8. Sweet pictures of your Angels enjoying cat grass. No looting… you are right, nothing acceptable about that ever. #4,,, hard to think about something other than money but since the lock down I have a different answer. My Fill-Ins:
    1. Finding Clorox sanitizing wipes is like trying to nail jello to a wall.
    2. I will never give up my stuffie Suds Bunny.
    3. If I had a dollar for every time I clean our glass stove top, I would be rich. Not a fan.
    4. I wish good caring Doctors grew on trees.
Thank you to you and Four-Legged Furballs for the Fill-Ins. I look forward to them!

    1. Thank you for these great answers. I was able to get wipes at The Dollar Tree, not clorox, but beggars can’t be choosers. I know your bunny is very special to you. Excellent answer for #4 🙂 Have a nice weekend. XO

      1. I tried the Dollar Tree here but no luck… I will keep checking. I don’t care what brand, I would just like some sanitizing wipes. We are seeing all kinds of stuff popping up, I am sure they will show up soon.

  9. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Catnip!!!!!!! We loves it!
WE like your answers to the fill=ins too 😉
    Purrs,Georgia and Julie

  10. Meowser Ms. Ellen that cat grass looks like the same type I grow. Indeed you are an excellent cat-mom! As per your #4, money sort of does grow on trees – think fruit and nuts, which can be turned into cash. Purrhaps you need to rethink your garden.
Thank you for hosting this blog hop.

  11. Love your fill-ins. Cats are cats and they do what they do. Bless their hearts.

Aw on your precious angels and prayers for Harvey.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, Ellen. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to all the kitties. ♥

  12. We love your answers. I think 1 & 2 are our are favorites. We loved seeing the flashback of Angels Phoebe and Lucy eat their cat grass.

  13. Great answers and fill-ins! I’m sure you know it’s outside agitators doing the looting and vandalism. They were around even when the peeps went to protests in the early ’70s only they were CP in those days. They’ve achieved their goal since even TW is fed up.

  14. Your fill-ins are always fantastic! You are so right with #1. I “only” have 6 cats at my house, and yet I have gates up in doorways because some of them just can’t get along and have to be separated either sometimes or always (my girl Eddy is the only one who officially has her very own room, because she’s just not into other cats, except for her buddy Evan). My parents have 12 cats and theirs are constantly starting fights with each other. I visit them regularly and find myself constantly telling this cat to get off that cat, telling this cat to stop slapping that cat, and so on and so forth. Our kitties sure keep our lives action-packed! Purrs!

  15. Those were really good answers and we’d be mega-wealthy too on the scooping thing! Such sweet flashbacks.

  16. Cute photo! Teddy is very fussy with his litter in his old age. He won’t cover anything over, so he cries until I clean it right away. I sure wish I got paid every time I cleaned it too:)

  17. guyz…we wizh trout grew on treez coz we due knot haza bank a count !! 🙂 ♥♥

  18. Our mom would say trying to get me in a carrier is like trying to nail jello to a wall! MOL

  19. Wouldn’t it be nice to go in the yard and be able to pick some green papers? 🙂

    Woos, Lightning and Timber

  20. Great answers this week number 3 was amusing LOL

Cute flashback photo , my best wishes for Harvey too

    Have a safetastic weekend😷😷😷

  21. Oh fiddle sticks! I hit the wrong button cropping my photo. I like all the answers you have here. I agree protesting is one thing, looting, never, Prayers for Harvey, I hope your weekend is wonderful HUGS

  22. 1. Trying to get cats to get along….. totally agree.
    2. Looting is never acceptable.,,,,, also agreed. Looting is definitely not a victimless crime.
If i had a dollar for every time I scooped…. oh wow, so would I!!
    4. I wish money grew on trees….. AMEN!

  23. Great answers! So true about #2. These are criminals and thugs, not protesters.

  24. 1. Pinterest is like trying to nail jello to a wall.
    2. Cheaters never win. (Only they do)
    3. If I had a dollar for every time People says “is that a cat” when I take my cats out walking, I would be rich.
    4. I wish money grew on trees.

    1. Thank you for these great answers. We used to walk our Phoebe and everyone questioned us too 🙂

  25. I think all that squabbling is a big reason my husband won’t allow more than three cats here. Heh… Sad to say we’re still down to the one. 🙁 Feel better, Harvey!

  26. Supurr fill-ins and #4 definitely! Happy Caturday! XOX
