Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

I am thankful Millie and Prancie are both still with us and got to enjoy Christmas.

We are also joining   Sammy’s Poetry Day. Here is my poem to go with this photo prompt provided by Pam.

A sleigh ride, just you and me
is a romantic way to spend the day
As long as they didn’t have Beefaroni
before pulling the sleigh.
( fans of Seinfeld will appreciate the poem)
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.
1. On New Year’s Eve, I _______________________________.

2. My focus word for 2020 is ______________________.
3. _________ is the best thing about starting a new year.
4. My personal goals for 2020 include _________.

  1. HAHAHAHA!!! Never thought about what it MIGHT be like behind those horses on a sleigh – just the beautiful part of the ride! Good job and thanks for joining us in Angel Sammy’s Poetry day. So happy Prancie and Millie and all the rest of the gang enjoyed Christmas!!!

    Hugs, Teddy and Pam

  2. Prancie and Millie are dear and I am also glad they spent the day here with the family.

    1. On New Years Day, I reflect on the year passed by.

    2. My focus for 2020 is doing necessary things and maintaining g health so as to see 2021 🙂

    3. Being grateful for ALL that you have, had, and gave is the best way to start the New year,

    4. My personal goals for the new Year are not to be quite so fussy about my daily walking when it is blistering hot and humid. Just duit. Or just go to the disliked gym where it’s cooler if you don’t want to sweat looking like a melting popsicle.

  3. Prancie and Millie, we are so grateful that you both got to enjoy a merry Christmas. It looks like you had yourselves a nice little feast! And, as always, your poem made me so laugh. Purrs!

  4. Enjoying another Christmas is always a good thing.

Love the poem and I got it right away.

I’m all ready for the Friendly Fill-ins.

Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday, Ellen. Scritches to all the kitties. ♥

  5. What wonderful photos with Santa. This is such a great tradition. Though it is probably a bit sad sometimes, I bet you enjoy looking back at Santa/cat photos from the past. Happy Boxing Day. 6. We never watched Seinfeld or tasted Beefaroni, but we loved the poem annyway. Dad puts foods on angel hair spaghetti a lot though and enjoys reading the TV descriptions of “The One Where…”. The titles crack him up.
