Hi everyone! Today is not usually my day to write, but Mom said I could because I have lots to tell you and Thursdays are busy with blog hops.

Grammie was here Monday and look what she bought for ME. My favorite flavor of Temptations. I love her so very much.

Mom says I can’t eat as many treats as I want anymore because I have high blood pressure. I am taking a pill for it though and it is fine now so I don’t know why I can’t keep having lots of treats. Maybe if Mom would stop schlepping me off to the vets my blood pressure wouldn’t be so high.

I got mail on Monday too! My thoughtful, sweet and handsome purrince sent me this beautiful card.

And my purrince and I got to spend time together at an amusement park as part of Blogville’s Spring Break. You can see us and lots of others having fun over on Madi’s blog.

You all had a lot of good guesses on what today’s A-Z Blogging Challenge item would be, but no one guessed an Uncle Sam Hat. Any guesses for V?

  1. Wow, all those treats, all for YOU, Phoebe. Ah, we guess Mom’s right … we don’t want your BP getting too high, so be sure to practice moderation, okay? You do have a point about schlepping you off to the vet … that raises our blood pressure, too!

    V: Won’t be the vet fur sure. Maybe a Valentine, or a valve, or a viper(snake), or a vortex. Can you actually crochet a vortex?? Hmmm…
    Vanilla ice cream or just the vanilla bean?

    OK, we give up!! Its late and petcretary wants to visit some others before she goes to her own nest. We are smart and are there already…zzzzzzzz……

  6. Glad your BP is under control Phoebe but not glad you are being forced to cut back on TREATS! I guess we missed with our guess of UNDERWEAR for “U” – Uncle Sam hat is much cuter anyway. “V” – maybe a crocheted vest? a Vanilla ice cream cone?

  9. We’re sorry about your blood pressure, Phoebe, but we sure are happy that it’s better with the new med. Now, if your mom is holding off on the treats, do you think you could get your dad to sneak you some extras? We hope so! And, we love Uncle Sam’s hat!

  10. I saw you yesterday at Spring Break at Madi’s post! I am sorry you have high blood pressure, how wonderful the pill is working. I would have never guessed an Uncle Sam hat! V… hmmm… violin, maybe vulture!

  12. My guess for V would be the vet for sure! That way you can bite him/her and stuff … kinda like a voodoo doll … yeah … that’s it … the voodoo doll vet ! Tear him/ her to pieces!! Whack them around like crazy ! All those things you are too afraid to do in the office ! Then when you’re done the vanilla ice cream cone sounds nice too LOL

  14. Woo Hoo mee sweet gurl!!! You look marveelluss! An HURRAH fur Grammie comin thru with treetss. Mee finks yur meddysin will onlee werk well with fewer treetss. Mee had to go ‘off’ Temtayshunss an on to Greenie’ss hard an soft…but mee can onlee have 2-3 a day. It iss not easy butt mee has adjusted.

  16. I hope the pill you take each day keeps your blood pressure down. I know you don’t like Mom taking you to the vet, but sometimes you have to go. You look so cute with your yummy treats and with that adorable Uncle Sam hat. Your Mom is so creative!

  20. Ooh, those treats look yummy. I don’t get treats very often ’cause I have many food allergies & there aren’t many I can eat. What is the name of your sweet prince? I love the Uncle Sam hat! It looks adorable on you! Let me guess… “V” is for… “Vadar” hat? I was going to guess “Valentine”, but that would be me – Tee hee hee!

    1. I am sorry you have allergies to food. My purrince’s name is Purrince Siddhartha Henry, he has a blog too. Good guess on V, it is a kind of hat. My Mom isn’t talented enough to crochet you. 🙂

  27. Phoebe, you are a lucky girl! I’ve never seen that flavor of Temptations before – Bear’s not a big fan of dairy (he refused the Cat Sip milk I gave him and he won’t eat cheese) – but his favorite kind of treats only have two flavors and I think he’s getting tired of them. Bear doesn’t appreciate my insistence that I treat his health issues … and he likes to remind me that I eat too many doughnuts 🙂 We love the picture of Sammy and the hat. It reminds me to thank your Mom again for sending Bear the crocheted toys – he really loves them.

  35. That hat looks very fun! And Phoebe, we are certain you will still really enjoy the treats, just not as often! Our Mama should practice moderation herself…she is trying to go two weeks without eating sugar but has already caved once and has had to start all over again!!
