KaTwo left us quite suddenly last night.
( Thank you Pipo’s Mom for this image)
I knew her time was limited after being diagnosed with mammary cancer 15 months ago, but other than the small lumps she had no symptoms and was very active. I think it was a blood clot, not sure if it was from her thyroid related heart murmur or from the cancer. She is the one cat I was unable to give aspirin to, I could barely get her liquid thyroid meds into her.I am thankful we were with her. My heart is so broken , this is the third loss this year. I only had her for 7 and a half years, but I am thankful for that time. She had been in the Secaucus, NJ Animal Shelter for 2 years before we adopted her.
She loved to be right next to me on the couch and that is where she was when she left this world.
And thank you to Teddy’s mom for this beautiful angel image.
Fill-Ins are canceled this week. I will be back blogging Saturday or Sunday. Wishing all the US readers a Happy Thanksgiving.
