Heaven’s Newest Angel

Our sweet boy left us very early this morning. We were both with him. Thank you Ann of Zoolatry

Thank you Pam of Two Spoiled Cats

Thank you Pipo’s Mom

I always say the more nicknames a cat has, the more loved he is. Millie was very loved, we called him Milton Bradley the third, Miltoni, Millie Macaroni, Miller, Mr. Magoo, The MIllyard Man, Ole Blue Eye and so many more names.

He loved his mousie

and his Dad’s lap

and his candy cane.

He loved to be stretched too .

And a good nap in his Dad’s chair.

 A little tv too.

He was so unique with his 15 inch tail, one blue eye and one green eye.I will miss the pitter patter of Millie feet running around the house. And singing him his bedtime song.

We have lost 5 cats in a one year period. I sure hope God gives us a break now.

Thank you all for the purrs and prayers. You are all a blessing.

I will be back for the Fill-Ins on Friday, you can get them on Thursday from my co-host, Lorianne.

  5. I am writing this with tear blurred eyes. My heart aches so badly for you. I know how hard these loses are and one is hard enough but 5 is too many in such a short time. I have prayed that God would grant you a reprieve from loss to have time to heal. I wish I could be there in person to just give you a love filled hug! So with this message I send it in Spirit with prayers for healing and peace! Much Love, Deborah

Taking care of him for his diabetes took up more time than most things and was worth every bit. Administrting his insulin as somerhing we could do together. ❤

  43. We are so sorry about Millie. You’ve had it really rough lately. What a charming cat Millie was. I talk to my Angel Tigger almost Daily and she told me she hadn’t been that busy and was hoping to stay that way. You see she has the important job of greeting the new angels and showing them around and playing with them. I think Millie and Tigger will get along just fine. Once again we are so sad to hear this news.

  44. Ellen and David, I was so sorry to hear of Millie’s passing. I know you were expecting it, but I know it didn’t make it any easier. You have suffered way too many losses. Yes, we are purraying that all your kitties stay well and happy for a looooooong loooooooong time XOXOXO Spitty & the Human

  50. Ellen,

My dear sweet friend, how I’m sorry that another beloved pet has crossed the rainbow bridge. As I’ve said before you and the hubs have made the lives of each furbaby a little better by taking them into your home. We know the average life of an outdoor kitty is far shorter than that of an indoor pet. You cared and loved for each of yours deeply. This day I believe in my heart that Millie is a little kitten once again, frolicking in fields chasing butterflies without a care. No fear of predators or want for food and shelter. All of his needs are supplied endlessly and at night, he sleeps at the feet of Jesus. God’s blessings to you, my dear! XOXO

  51. I am devastated to hear Millie is gone. He was a tough little guy with a very long tail. His eyes made him unique. There was so much to love about him that he will always stay within you.

    Jean

    1. Thank you. He was so unique and such a sweet boy. He will always be loved and missed. XO

  52. Oh, sweet Millie. We are sorry to hear you have crossed the Bridge but know you will continue to feel love from your family and so many of us. Run fast and free, sweetheart.

  53. Millie sure was lucky to have shared his life with you. Your photos show what a sweet kitty he was. So sorry for your loss.

  54. O Mi Cod Millie too? Heartbreak by the numbers, as the country song goes…I hope your heartaches fade and become joys one day remembering your little angels in heaven! How loved you and they must be to get 100+ replies!!

  55. Oh Miss Ellen, you have had so much loss in a year’s time and now another. Maybe Millie was just so heartbroken over her sisters and brofurs going OTRB earlier and didn’t want to be without them. I send kisses to you and 15andMeowing as you grieve and try to heal in the days ahead. Purr purr purr.

  56. Charlee: “We’re very sorry to hear that Millie had to go away.”
Chaplin: “Run free over the Rainbow Bridge, Millie, and have fun playing with all the butterflies and dragonflies there.”
Charlee: “We are sending you lots of purrs at this difficult time.”
Lulu: “And I send fluffy tail wags!”

  57. Oh awnty Ellen, we’re so sorry. We could’ve swore we commented already. We so hate you havin’ to go thru all of this. Purrlease, ifin you need anythin’, let us know. We luv you very much and are sendin’ lots and lots of hugs and purrayers.
