Happy Sunday everyone! This is Phoebe here, I have had a busy week. Snowball is always bugging me for a bath, the minute I start cleaning myself, she comes running:

We wrote letters to Santa this week, here is mine:006Mom went to Macy’s again and got some more letters so I wrote another one too:001

I am having another giveaway just like last week. You can win a gift for your mom or dad you just need to comment between now and Tuesday. Mom donated the ones she made, but she can crochet up your choice of prize in no time. I’ll make sure you get a crocheted toy too because I am very sweet.

Mom said that I have to let someone else have a turn with a selfie- Phooey! She didn’t say it had to be a kitty so here is our turtle:007He is even posing for a photo. Mom and dad bought 2 teeny tiny turtles off a street dealer in NYC in 2002. They didn’t know it was illegal to own a turtle with a shell under 4 inches wide at the time.  One passed away in 2012, but this one keeps going like an Energizer bunny.

    1. No, we don’t want to miss him, but I guess it would be OK because I have a Grammie.

    1. Thank you, I am glad to be a kitty too! Mr. Turtle is pretty big too and he is sweet, he never tries to bite mom when she cleans him or washes his shell.

  11. We love your elf hat Phoebe! You look adorable! What is your turtle’s name? We have a tortoise cousin named Cedric who wandered onto our Auntie’s property many years ago.Tell your Mama we received our coal and toys in the mail. We will write about it tomorrow! Thank you 🙂

    1. Mom is glad you got them and thanks you for posting tomorrow. We used to call the turtles the Slowskis until one died so I guess he is Mr. Slowski. Mom would love a tortoise too.

  13. I didn’t know you had turtles! That is so cool. For several years, my human had frogs that were actually illegal to own here in California, but they’ve been gone for a long time now.

    1. Just one turtle now, we used to have 2. Is it illegal to own all frogs or just certain ones? When I cat sit, I also frog sit for someone too.

  15. You’ve had a very busy week. It’s nice that you want Santa to bring you some dollars so you can get gifts for others. Hopefully you get some, but if not, just your cute well-wishes are a great gift.
    I think that’s the first turtle sefie I’ve seen. He/She’s a cute little turtle.

    1. Thank you, my Grammie gives me dollars 🙂 Glad you like the turtles selfie- he is a boy. My cousin volunteers at an Ecotarium and took a class on them so I had her check.
