Hi everyone! Thank you all for your kind words on our one year blogoversary yesterday. We all feel very loved and blessed to have so many friends. Special thanks to Sammy of One Spoiled Cat ( https://onespoiledcat.wordpress.com/) He made us this sweet card: SAMMYPBLOGAVERSARY

Can you believe Mom accused me of drinking from her water cup? Yes, I was near it, but she can’t prove I drank out it. And so what if I did? I don’t have cooties. 001

Sammy took his Botany exam yesterday for Cat Scouts and it was very hard. Daddy is going to be very disappointed in him if he didn’t pass- Mommy won’t care because she thinks he is perfect.

Spooky is a little better , but not quite himself. When he had his exam, the vet saw he had a broken tooth so that could be part of his problem in addition to the thyroid and whatever was going on with the cat food. I even vomited several times and so did KaTwo and Lucy  so Mom bought 2 other brands to try.

I have been getting to see Grammie almost every day which is nice because I love her so very much. Don’t forget to comment to enter the big Giveaway- we will announce the winner Monday.

  1. I hope you are all feeling okay. What kind of food is it? Make sure your vet knows!
    That is the cutest picture of Phoebe. Maggie got scolded for that very thing today.

    1. I was using Purina Pro Plan Savor (Chicken and rice) . I contacted them and they had no other problems and haven’t changed anything, they are going to give me a refund, but it still doesn’t explain why so many were vomiting unless they have some kind of a cat flu.

  2. Happy Belated Blogaversary wishes. Sammy P is that water I see on you chin?….Um sorry no I must be seeing things.
    The test at Scouts was so very hard. I’m glad your mom thinks you’re purrfect Sammy P no matter what. Aren’t moms wonderful and always forgiving? Purrig for Spooky and hoping ever ones tummy feels better.

  5. Just because you had water on yer chin and were next to that cup doesnt mean you drank from it. It might have been ANOTHER cup…

  10. Oh I can’t imagine why your Mom thinks you had a slurp of her water! Circumstantial evidence with the water on your chin……!! We hope Spooky gets better – maybe food was the culprit. Glad you had a nice blogaversary day……and hope today is even BETTER! Happy Sunny Day!

  13. So what if you’re right next to her water cup and have water dripping from your chin! That doesn’t mean anything. We hope Spooky gets better. I guess it would be good that the food caused a lot of the problem but also scarey.

    1. I hope it is just the food, some of my kitties are still a little off so only time will tell. And Phoebe says she wasn’t drinking from that cup ( she does fib a little though).

    Mum and I only just found you blog. I only started mine recently — hope you will come and visit. Although I am a fairly large (70 lbs) female dog, I share my home with two 5 year old kitties — sixpence (cos she has 6 toes on each paw) and Tigger III (Mum had a Tigger about 18 years ago; her best friend in New York had a Tigger and now this one). She always had cats up until her friend Vic moved from Chicago to Tucson to be with her back in 2002; His dog, Coco, was 15 and a good buddy when I was there, but she disappeared a couple of weeks ago. He now has another dog, also named Coco, that I am going to visit tomorrow. Hope to hear from you soon.

        1. I am all better- thank you my sweet purrince. And Spooky is doing better too- Mom gave him some chicken baby food and that perked him up and now he is eating regular food too. He will still need to go to the vet because of that tooth. Thanks for your care and concern my sweet purrince- I want to see you blush 🙂 XO

  25. We’re glad Spooky is feeling better. That Botany test was REALLY HARD! Whew….we needed a little time in the nip greenhouse afterwards.

  29. Mau said that Botany Test was the hardest thing he ever did. He passed. Hope Sammy did has well. Glad you had a good blogoversary. Phoebe, our mom doesn’t mind if we drink from her class.     1. I didn’t know it was graded, I need to check that out. Sammy thinks he failed, it was really hard. I don’t really mind when Phoebe drinks from my cup, but my hubby gets repulsed 🙂

  31. I am relieved you did not take Spooky yesterday…..how is he today & did he go to Vet’s?
    I called my Vet with a question & no answer…it was not even a tough one…I am not enamored of this new Vet….*sighs*

    1. A good vet is hard to get. The place I always went got bought out by VCA so it is not as good and has a high turnover on vets. It is mainly fresh out of school and they get experience and move on. The only good thing is you can get in the same day- and they do call back-part of that may have to do with my niece being the hospital manager now. She started there in high school as a receptionist in 2005 and worked her way up. She went to UMASS for Animal Science and graduated in 2010 for that- I am a proud Auntie 🙂 XO Phoebe sends her love and a hug to her purrince.

  32. I hear you Ellen about a GOOD Vet!!! When Dr Dave dumped me from the practice I was heartbroken! I am still very broken up over this.
    Dr Becker is ok but she does not seem to delve into anything. I told my friend Sheila if I do not like how she checks Siddhartha Henry in Dec. I will go to her Vet in 2016. I need a Vet I can actually talk to!

    The ‘littul Purrince’ sends his <3 LUV <3 to Purrincess Phoebe. Hee is a bit under the weather as he had a reaction to new flea collar. He is stable now & sleeping…

  33. I am running out of options here regarding Vets’. I was hoping Dr Dave would have a change of heart….but no.
    I would still trust him caring for Siddhartha Henry…his care was never in question…his practice partners are questionable tho’. They are in it for the money….
    Dr Becker is nice enough but she is very lax about things (as opposed to Dave). I like a Vet who gives an animal a proper check-up & tests if needed or at least makes me aware of tests that could be helpful.
    I know Sheila really likes her Vet so Dr Lang may be our next stop…..time will tell.
    As for the incident with Siddhartha Henry today we will post the complete story tomorrow…..I was quick thankfully or else I could have had one sick boy!!!
