Hi everyone!DSCF1716 I decided to try my paw at poetry again, I know I am not as good as Sammy, but I will try. This week is for the letter C.

Cat-A-Bliss catnip is the best
it passes every test
I get excited with just one whiff
don’t come near mine or we’ll have a tiff
Luckily on Etsy ,it is for sale
you can get your own in the mail

I haven’t seen my Grammie all week, she is busy with the great one- phooey! I love her so very much, I hope I get to see her soon. I am thankful to have such a wonderful Grammie so I am joining PepiSmart Dog’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

I am not looking forward to the start of July. Mom says it is her “birthday month” and she she bosses Dad around ( more than usual) and she makes Grammie go places with her like book sales. She is quite obnoxious, I could see a week, but a whole month? Wait a minute- July is my birthday month too! Dad, go pick me some fresh nip! Mom, I need fresh water ( every hour) ! Grammie, come see me!!

  9. I love your poetry and questions but I’d like to fill in the questions right there on the blanks instead of having to write them down (to remember them!) and then answer, but maybe that’s too hard to achieve.
    I never thought I would miss being a feral cat, but sometimes I do like the great outdoors and its challenges. Still, I’m very happy here with my mama and papa and just a garden to roam in. Mama says if she had know what the sun could do, she would have used more sunscreen!!!
    On the 4th of July we are always in Rome but we grill something anyway and eat watermelon and the Italians just love coming for the celebration.
    If I knew how much I goofed in my youth I would have done a few things differently.
    I have trouble staying awake in this hot, hot weather! Snoozes are for me.

  10. So both you and your Mom are going to celebrate for a WHOLE MONTH Phoebe? Wow……my Mom doesn’t even celebrate her “day” ! I think she feels at her age, she should DENY rather than RECOGNIZE it’s her birthday. HAHAHA Hope you have a wonderful birthday month though…..same for your Mom. I bet your Grammie will give you all kinds of presents – oh boy! Your poem is SPECTACULAR – and it’s about everyone’s favorite thing – NIP!

That is a great poem – Purrseidon & Mr. M are mega fans of cat-a-bliss blends, too… Purrseidon has her own catnip plant in the garden, but about the only thing she does is lounge in its shade … However, she has been known to make a fool of herself over the Cat-a-bliss sample bag.

  34. Whoa! TW’s birthday is in July too and now she’s gonna expect us to wait on her all month.
    1. I never thought I would miss Chinese food, but I do cos we haven’t had it in weeks.
    2. Every 4th of July TW and Pop leave me and go downstairs to view the Macy’s fireworks.
    3. If I knew TW’s credit card number, I would order myself a mess of toys and cat furniture.
