Hi everyone! It has been a tough week, I haven’t seen my Grammie all week. I love her so very much. My poem will explain why I haven ‘t seen her.

DSCF2097 Apparently Mom is following the advice of the book she recommended the other day- The Joy of Leaving Your Sh*t All Over the Place.

I was so happy yesterday morning. Mom put Brody in a carrier and I thought she was bringing him to a new home, but he just went for his rabies shot. It has been 5 months since he was rescued so he was allowed to get his rabies shot. Mom also retested for FELV/FIV and that was negative. She is still waiting on heartworm results. He got basic blood work too and that was good.

Today is my friend, Sammy’s Poetry Day featuring the letter G, mine is titled The Great One ( that is what I call Grammie’s Great grand-daughter) .

Great one, you have been here almost  9 months
and I have only met you once.
My Grammie you have stolen
and that upsets my colon
All you do is drool
I can’t wait ’til your old enough for school
then I can have my Grammie back.

    Soon enough, she will drop by fur a visit.
    Pipo & Minko are going to answer these:
    1. One quirk I (Pipo) have is showing pawppy the way to go…I lead him all through the den cause he can’t get there otherwise….
    2. Our favorite comic strip is Mutts.
    3. I, (Minko), am really happy when I get chin sctritches from pawppy…while he eats his meals. MOL! .
    4. If we could go anywhere on a road trip, I would go to meowmy’s cousins in Europe, to visit their kitties! (And to see the home of Pipo’s namesake…) .

Phoebe you put together a grand “G” poem and I know that your Grammie misses you too……she’s spending time with that little sticky purrrrson because she’s a cute baby and humans like babies but once she’s running around all over the place exploring, Grammie will come to YOUR house for some peace and quiet! Tee Hee………….We think the button art Maggie and Felix made for their Mom while they visit is fabulous…….!!!!! Thanks for playing poetry with me today………we’ll be “filling in” tomorrow.

  14. Poor Phoebe, first thinking that Brody was leaving (he wasn’t) and then your Grammie ignoring you (well…distracted at least…)! Am thinking you need some extra treats to get over these horrible incidents!

    1. I was happy when I thought Brody was leaving ( hee-hee). I do think I deserve extra treats though 🙂

  16. Poor Phoebe. We don’t think it’s fair that you’ve been denied your grammie in favor of something that drools. And about Brody? Caroline feels the same way any time one of the I boys gets put into a troll box.

  17. Well dat’s pawsum mews ’bout Brody. We don’t think your grammy’s been stolen. We think she luvs you just as much as befur, but da baby is new. Don’t worry gawjus, soon da new will wear off and da baby will be all sticky and screamy. Your grammy will be back. MOL

  21. Oh Phoebe, your Grammie loves yous the bestest! Brodie is the newbie. And speaking of which, mes happy his tests was good.
    Now mes going to do the Friday Fill Ins cuz mes don’t post on Fridays…

    3. I am really happy when mes can snuggle with Mommy .

    1. Thank you for your answers. Sammy yaks a lot in the morning and the vet said it was because it was too long between his meals so he has to have a late night snack. Garfield rocks 🙂 We would love for you to visit us, we would have so much fun. XO
