Penny’s Tips Volume 131

Hi everyone! I have a fun and simple project for you today. Mom made them with The Great One and Typhoid Mary last week.

All you need are some paper coffee filters, markers , pipe cleaners and a spray bottle.

Put 2 coffee filters together and draw on the top one.  ( There are 4 filters in the photo, but you can only see 2).

Then gently spray them.

Pull them apart and let them dry. Then fold them like an accordion.

Then arrange them like I did below and twist the pipe cleaner on so it holds them together and makes 2 antennas. Then separate the folds to open up the wings.

  1. YOU ARE SO CREATIVE!!! Those two little darlings (no fur on them) are so LUCKY to have you making butterflies out of filters for them. They will never forget the fun they have at your house! Good thoughts to all….

  2. Those are pretty! And a craft that doesn’t require skill is a craft for me!

  3. How fun. I’ll let my sister know about this because she does projects with her great grand. Adorable.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday, Ellen. Scritches to the kitties. xoxo ♥

  4. What a fun way to make a butterfly! Not expensive, either. Penny, you and your Mom are great at coming up with things that cost pennies, or are penny savers, and i thank you.

  5. What an adorable little craft! And Penny, you are the most purrfect model for them. Purrs to all of you!
