Happy Friday everyone! We have another award! This is from our dear friend Sammy of One Spoiled Cat- thank you Sammy! Here’s the award badge………………….

7 facts about me ( and my cats)

  1. I used to be a dog person IMG_20160201_0001
  2. Sammy poops on the bed once about every 2 weeks.
  3. Snowball still runs from me, unless I have food, but she will run if I try to pet her.
  4. I started seeing a therapist weekly when I got up to 15 cats- I didn’t want to become a hoarder. That was over 5 years ago and I haven’t surpassed 15 since then.
  5. Prancie loves her Dad more than she loves me.
  6. I absolutely hate football and will not be watching the Super Bowl.
  7. The only thing on my bucket list is to meet Nicolas Cage ( I think you all know that).

  1. Concats on your well-deserved award. We love these awards when we get to know more about our friends. Our Mom used to be a dog person as well. We don’t think Sammy is going to be too happy when he finds out what you shared about him. Mom asked us to tell you how happy she was to see Fiona yesterday morning playing like crazy with the little blue crocheted fish we got from you. She was chasing it all around the kitchen and running in circles with it. Mom was so happy she felt well enough to do this.     1. Thank you. I like learning more about blogging friends too. I am so happy that Fiona was playing with something I made and that she did feel well enough to do that. Sammy needs to not poop on the bed anymore I will tell his Cat Scouts friends 🙂 XO

  2. I agree with Kitties Blue, I love to get more about you – and this old picture of you is so sweet!! I’m surprised about cat hoarding – I’ve never looked upon you as a cat hoarder, because you take good care of all. Not too sure about the concrete cat hoarder definition though 😉 Hugs

    1. Thank you, you are very sweet. I am not a cat hoarder, but I feared that I could easily become one. I have room for 15 cats and they are all comfortable and have space, but any more would be a problem. Of course now I am down to 13 so someday I may adopt one or 2 more being that we are 15andmeowing. I also need to be able to afford health care for all and I technically can’t because I can only do a few dentals per year when they should all get them ( or at least get them every other year). XO

  3. Concats on your award! Me and my mum like to hear more about our friends too. That is a sweet picture of your mum with the dog. My mum also grew up with dogs, but her nan who lived across the street had cats. As soon as my mum and dad got married they got their first cat. My dad has always been a cat person.

    1. I didn’t have a cat until I got married too 🙂 Now I can’t imagine not having one. XO

  6. Well done with the seven facts! Love that photo of you from “back then”…..We always had dogs in my family but the minute I was out on my own, I got my first cat and it’s been felines ever since (although I do love dogs too!).

  8. Congratulations on the award. I enjoyed your seven facts. A couple of them were pretty brave, such as the fact about Sammy. Seeing a therapist took courage, too. You seem to know yourself pretty well. Brava! George loves your toys, and wishes you made footballs…and all kinds of balls! He is obsessed with balls! ❤

    1. I should have guessed she had fish 🙂 I had a lot of guinea pigs and dogs growing up, but never a cat- I was so deprived. Snowball will let us be in the room with her and she actually likes my Mom, but even she can’t pet her. Hope you have a great weekend too.

  13. Concatulations on the award! Thanks for sharing that cool stuff. We don’t know the number needed for hoarding either, but Mom says as long as everyone is well cared for and the resources are there, everything should be fine.

    1. I agree with your Mom. I think I am at my limit now with 13 because I can’t afford for everyone to have a dental as often as needed.

  14. I don’t really like football either, but I will be watching the Super Bowl simply because the Broncos are playing. Hopefully they do better than they did the last time!!

  17. We cats have our ways of winning peeps over to our side. Mom was raised w dogs too. No one in her family had cats. When she started dating my dad in 1968 his family had a cat named John. That is probably the first cat she ever knew

  22. Concatulations on your award! We won’t let our Mommy become a cat hoarder because we like being the only two kitties here no matter how much she wants to add more! We love football but we hate the Donkeys and the Patriots so we won’t be watching the Super Bowl this year either.

    1. You are smart kitties, I think some of my kitties would like to have a smaller family.
