We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays and Book Date’s It’s Monday What are YOU Reading?

I am currently reading. I.M. : A Memoir by Isaac Mizrahi. As most of you know he is a designer, talk show host and much more. I am enjoying reading about his childhood and how he was always interested in fashion and design. Being gay in his Jewish neighborhood made things difficult for him in addition to being overweight. I am glad he was able to get through that and become successful.

It was a funny coincidence, I just got some sheets at TJ Maxx and they happen to be designed by him. I had to have these sheets- the kitties look like Angel Phoebe in her polka-dotted bikini.

  1. I have some yoga pants designed by him..and I have seen him in many places back when I used to watch TV. Loved those yoga pants and never found any quite like them again.

  11. What a wonderful and special coincidence about the finding those sheets while reading his book. Gay persons really had a difficult time and still do. Glad he had success as that is difficult no matter the field

    1. I love the sheets. Yes, they still do, but not as bad as in the past.

  12. Those sheets are adorable! Our mom must have them. Our mom is reading Youtube again. She says she can’t wrap her head around a book right now, and can’t find a good fantasy novel that holds her interest.

  21. That sounds like a very interesting book! Those sheets are adorable. I can see the resemblance with Angel Phoebe. Right now, I’m reading Wicked by Gregory Maguire (I’m a little behind in the times).
