Would you like a chance to win this catnip mat ( there are astronaut cats on it) and this mini crocheted TARDIS?

This Saturday from 11AM -11 PM  is the annual #SCIFIPAWTY on Twitter, it is a great cause. Click here to learn more and our good friend, Stunning Keisha will be a DJ at 9 PM. This is just one of the prizes, there are many more, but the only way to win is to be at the pawty on Twitter.

  1. Ellen, did you answer #2 and there is a typo, or did one of the cats? We don’t think you were the youngest but have an eight-year-old sibling. Mom loves pussy willows. They had a bush in the backyard when she was growing up. She’s going to have to check the yard to see if we have anywhere to plant some. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

    1. I think you read it wrong, she is 8 years older not old 🙂 Pussy willows are beautiful. XO

  2. Walks with a loved one can be very fun. It is usually too hot here for that. And, now it would be a push instead of a walk since I am not supposed to walk. Have a great weekend.

  3. Walking in the spring time sounds so nice. I hope our snow goes away for good so we can do that. Have a great weekend!

  4. You and I both have older sisters – I like being her “baby” sister even though my sister is 9 years older! We aren’t “Twitter-ers” – I have enough trouble keeping up with our blog and email – I don’t really want to be on the computer ALLLLLLL the time! Love the “CAT-STRONAUT” mat though….too cute.

    Love, Pam

    1. I don’t Tweet often, but this is a good cause 🙂 XO and love to you and sweet Teddy

  5. Good Morning, Ellen! I will get back to the Fill-ins next Friday at my blog. We have internet issues… for once it is not the internet it is the CH who keeps messing with modems! I am going to Fill-in here, okay?
    1. I am the mischievous one in my family.
    2. I have zero siblings. I am an “only”.
    3. I am looking forward to Mr. Tanager this Spring.
    4. The first sign of Spring this year was the family of baby Ibis on the pond. They are so goofy ♥

    1. No worries, thank you for answering here. I always enjoy your answers. You are lucky to be an only child 🙂 Tanagers are beautiful, we have never had one, I don’t think they come this far North. XO

  6. Yikes, you have pussy williows?!? We had one when we lived in NY and it didn’t take long to realize I was allergic to it…. love photos of them as well as the name, but that pollen is killer!
Hope you have a great weekend.

    1. I love them and I do notice I am stuffier since bringing some in.I hope you have a nice weekend too.

  7. Ohhh come on Spring!! March has been roaring like a hungry lion since day 1 we hope it turns into a precious little lamb lickety split
    Hugs madi your bfff

  8. Tallulah is adorable.

I’m enjoying all the Friendly Fill-ins today. All the birth order things. All the issues with some families. I’ve got those too.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. ♥

    1. Thank you. All families have problems and if some say they don’t, they are fibbing. XO

  9. Fun and fantastic fill-ins, as always! I cannot wait to start enjoying springtime outdoors. Walks in the warm sun sound so wonderful right now. And I just love the kitty astronaut mat! Your crocheted TARDIS is so cute, too. I have always thought that crocheting little goodies would be so fun, but I have no skills with yarn and needles. You sure do have the skills, though! Happy Friday to all of you!

  10. We’re all very excited around here about spring, too! And I’m so looking forward to long walks with my husband. It won’t come too soon for us.

Fun answers as always! I am the youngest in my family among siblings.

  11. I love that catnip mat and that crocheted Tardis! I’m allergic to cats but I sure do love looking at them and wishing I wasn’t. – I hope you get your spring weather soon. I think after this weekend we should be well on our way. Fingers, eyes and toes all crossed. 🙂

  12. Good fill-ins this week! That SciFi mat fabric is to die for! We’ll have to look for some of that because goodness knows, our Mom needs more projects! MOL!

  13. guyz….momz matt N tardis R total lee kewl….itz way awesum her made them for de sci fi partee….we hope lotz of fundz iz raized !!!!!!! 🙂 ♥♥

  14. Thanks for donating the prize for #SciFiPawty. The schedule isn’t up yet so I can’t tell you when it will be given away. Nothing is blooming here; everything died this winter. Usually there are early crocuses or something. TW is looking forward to Yankee baseball that means something and going to games.

  15. Yes, being able to go for a walk without sinking in snow or mud will be great. And Tallulah is a beauty and looks like she owns the place 🙂

  16. Look at Talluhah, all lovely and regal. 🙂 That Tardis is so cute! I don’t think my Gracie is attracted to catnip the way some are. But it’s a nice mat!

    1. I am the _reliable one_ in my family.
    2. I have _two_ sibling(s). (although one of them I didn’t know about until adulthood and have only met twice in person.)
    3. I am looking forward to _more rain_ this Spring. (I hope we get more, at least!)
    4. The first sign of Spring this year was _the blooms on my tree–but technically it was still winter then_. . .

    1. I wonder if Gracie would like silvervine, a lot of cats that don’t like nip, like that. Thank you for these great answers. 🙂

  17. I think it is great that you and your hubby will be able to take Spring walks. It is a lot of fun to walk and see the pretty flowers in bloom around.

How was it for you growing up with a sister so much older than you? My little sister and I were only 2 years and 11 months apart (with twin brothers in between) and we didn’t get along at all. Our oldest son and youngest daughter were 9 years apart and she was always his little princess. 🙂

    Have a blessed weekend!

    1. It is nice to walk in the Spring. Having an older sister has ups and downs. I hope you have a blessed weekend too.

  18. I’m definitely looking forward to more walks with my beloved this spring as well. How lovely to have pussy willows in your garden – I love how soft they feel.
Have a really lovely week Ellen.

  19. I love your answers and pictures. Bill’s brother was nine years older. His sister is seven years older. His younger sister is almost three years younger, but she does not keep in touch. Hugs.
