Friendly Fill-Ins Week 391

Hi everyone! Today is Rosie’s 4th Gotcha Day!

We are blessed to have this sweet kitty in our lives.

Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.

1. I _______________________________________ on Black Friday.

2. Our Christmas Tree goes up on ________________________________ and down on _______________________________.
3. It’s important to _________ this time of year.
4. _________ helps me get in the festive spirit.
My answers:
1. I go shopping with my mom on Black Friday. Despite my dislike of crowds, I tough it out for bargains. 🙂
2. Our Christmas Tree goes up on the weekend after Thanksgiving and down on some day after January 6th.
3. It’s important to remember those less fortunate this time of year.
4. Decorating and listening to Christmas music helps me get in the festive spirit.
We are joining Feline Friday now hosted by Messymimi.
My flashback is from November 2019. My last photo of Angel KaTwo before we lost her to a blood clot. The next morning, a lady I know that works at my dr’s office asked if I could take Rosie. We weren’t really ready, but I am glad I said yes.

  1. Oh, dear Rosie, we sing to you on your Gotcha Day with love and snuggles, and your mama and my mama said similar things in the fill-ins even before we read yours. But yes, so many have so little. I wish we could have a giant give-away of the things we don’t need but here we have a wonderful organization that feeds many and does special things for holidays. Members of the food org. are in the supermarkets asking for contributions from shoppers. It’s nice.

    1. Thank you. 🙂 We have been donating all our surplus every month to a place that picks the stuff up and sells it to raise money for boys and girl’s clubs. XO

  2. Dear Rosie, Life Works in funny ways and you ended up in the perfect home. Look at you all comfy in that blanket. And your mom, is like a lot of the rest of us, when it comes to Holiday time we have special traditions and that’s what makes it work for us.

  3. Wishing you a very happy Gotcha Day, Rosie! Your Gotcha Day is a lovely example of serendipity. So sad about Angel KaTwo but it was such a gift for you. One beautiful soul moved on and another beautiful soul was given a new life with the Meowing Crew. And now look… you found the very best home. Thankful!
