Hi everyone!  Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. My answers:
1. Cigarette smoke always gives me a headache. I hate to even walk past someone smoking.
2. Ten years ago, I was taking care of my mom and hubby as they both had surgery within 2 weeks of each other and they were recuperating. My mom and I were also planning my niece’s bridal shower.
3.Laziness is the reason I haven’t yet completed a third children’s book.
4.I prefer to read memoirs, but I also don’t mind self-help books.

Our 9 year Blogoversary is coming up next week so my flashback is the first photo I ever posted in 2014. Angel Lucy all dressed up for Fleet Week in NYC.
Not to be confused with the Lucy that currently lives here.
They do have similar faces though.

You have me excited about your books now- I hope you do publish them. I don’t do vampires. My aunt let me watch Salem’s Lot when I was and I have feared them since. XO

        Hi Ellen~~ Seizures always cause headaches. A headache can last for hours, even days. They are very draining to say the least.
        My 1st book is a HUGE book of poetry. 2nd book is a trilogy of Vampire storeis~~they are not gory or terrifying. I wrote about Humane Vampires. I hear you about “Salem’s Lot”. That show freaked me out too! 😉
        My 3rd book is Native inspired legends; stories & poetry……sadly it is unfinished.
        And I remain unpublished. I am too unwell to do that now.

        1. That does look like a nurse’s cap and another commenter said she had a nurse doll with that outfit. I am sure that is draining, headaches are awful. I hope someday you feel better and can publish. I would read your vampire stories. XO

  5. We agree completely on the cigarette smoke….so sorry for smokers as it is hard to kick but it’s so, so damaging to the smoker. I’ll bet your mama was a good nurse 10 years ago….

    1. The Covid booster always gives me a headache.
    2. Ten years ago, I was 10 years younger and living in Missouri.
    3. Heat, humidity and hurricane season is the reason I haven’t yet totally embraced Floridadoo.
    4. I prefer peanut butter with my chili, but I also don’t mind crackers and cheese in it.

  15. Cute pics of the two Lucy’s! Cigarette smoke chokes me. Tobacco shortened my Mom’s life and directly caused the early deaths of two good friends via cancer. XO

    1. It also shortened my Dad’s life as well and I am sure it contributed to my sister’s death as well. XO

  24. It’s amazing the difference ten years can make, now the niece is married and you have the company of her 3 children.
