Friendly Fill-Ins Week 277

Hi everyone! Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.

1. Is it wrong to __________________?
2. I wish I had kept my _____________________.
3. _________ is my idea of living happily ever after.
         4. It’s been a long time since I _________.
My answers:
1. Is it wrong to pray that schools close so I can homeschool The Great One?  Wrong or not, I keep praying. School is so darn time consuming.
2. I wish I had kept my Weeble camper. I kept my weebles, but got rid of the camper in a decluttering spree years ago.
3. The life I am living is my idea of happily ever after. I am truly blessed with a wonderful husband, mom, kitties and family.
4. It’s been a long time since I went to the movies. The last time we went was for Star Trek in 2016. Maybe we will go to the new James Bond- depends on COVID numbers.
We are also joining Create With Joy’s Friendship Friday and Feline Friday currently hosted by Comedy Plus.

My flashback is from September 2016, Angel KaTwo made a mighty fine pirate.

  1. Love your answers especially #1. Our founding Fathers started and wanted prayer in schools and as long as they prayed things went good. Sure there were challenges but got through them. Now people wonder what happened? I say put prayer back in schools and you’ll see a difference(not trying to political just my opinion).

  2. Ahoy there Angel Pirate, Ka-Two!

Home schooling the Great One would be a wonderful thing, some peeps I know have decided to pull their kids right out of the whole school system and stick with homeschooling. We have a closed elementary school a 1/4 mile from our house, which has become a satellite for teaching groups of home schooled kids things that their parents don’t, such as gym, art and music lessons.

    1. Is it wrong to worry about this virus taking over our lives the way it does?? I wish it hadn’t become such a political issue, since when do viruses know anything about politics, LOL!

    2. I wish I had kept my dolls, their furniture and clothes….I had such a pretty crib…sigh…

    3. Retiring to a place with everything close at hand and convenient with no lack of anything is my idea of living happily ever after. Living rural has a lot of disadvantages, though right now I sort of enjoy it, even though I and hubby are both big city peeps.

    4. It’s been a long time since I saw or even spoke on the phone with any of my relatives in Europe. Maybe one day…I sure hope so.

    1. Thank you for these great answers. I wish I could homeschool, but her folks want her in school. It is wrong that the virus is political. Yes, the country is safer right now- less people. 🙂 I hope you can speak to or see your relatives soon. XO

  3. Wonderful filling in – We are happy you are living your “Happily Ever After”…..we wish that for all our friends. KaTwo makes a mighty find pirate…..I think they celebrate Talk Like A Pirate Day at the Rainbow Bridge too!

    Hugs, Teddy

  4. I can’t remember the last time I went to the movies but it must be 20+ years ago. I got fed up with people talking through it or putting their feet on the back of my seat which always led to arguments. Now I would much rather watch at home.
Angel Ka Two was a lovely pirate.

  5. OH, Katie said I had to get HER ready! The 19th is it?

    1. Is it wrong to wish away this horrible divisive life no one seems able to escape? It’s like being in a “penalty box”.
    2. I wish I had kept all my childhood games. Whoa. They would be worth a fortune now.
    3. Having had and raised kids and kitties is my idea of happily ever after.
    4. It’s been a long time since I have been out sweating or freezing in the weather getting my steps in . I do aerobics instead

    1. Yes, the 19th. Thank you for these great answers except I am sorry you are feeling so bad ( #1). At east you are exercising. I am a sloth. XO

    1. Thank you. I haven’t been to a drive in since about 1987. I am so old. And there are none left around here.

  6. Love all your fill-ins. Hubby and I haven’t been to the movies for a couple of decades. Just stopped one day and that was it.

Angel KaTwo was the very best pirate of all.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, Ellen. Scritches to all the kitties. ♥

  7. I am glad you are living your idea of happily ever after. And I wish that you could homeschool The Great One. Angel KaTwo is looking ruggedly handsome and dashing in the pirate costume photo.
    My Fill-Ins…
    1. Is it wrong to wish that all the snowbirds would find some place else to go for the winter?
    2. I often wish I had kept my thoughts to myself.
    3. Some place with LOW humidity is my idea of living happily ever after.
    4. It’s been a long time since I have experienced an outside fire on a chilly afternoon.
    Thank you Ellen!

    1. Thank you for these great answers. It has been very humid here all summer too. I cn imagine it gets crowded in your area in the winter. Have a nice weekend. XO

  8. I received a hand-me-down Weeble set from cousins and had so much fun. It was a ship, as I recall. KaTwo would have made a very handsome addition. 🙂 And by the way your toys remain popular with Polly, in particular. Thank you again. Blessings, my dear.

  9. I’m so glad I’m getting your email notifications again! 🙂
I can’t even remember the last time I went to the movies. I’m so much more comfortable just being home, and we watch far more TV shows than movies anyway.

  10. My husband wants me to clean out all our old things and keep none. But some things mean a lot to me, so I’m holding on to a few. Today, I got to show him a Hamtaro! My youngest once has quite a few of them. Down to one.

    1. I had to look up Hamtoro. 🙂 I try to declutter, but it is an ongoing thing. It is my hubby that holds onto more than I do.

  11. Supurr fill-ins and I love the pic of KaTwo in the pirate hat, I had one to share of Amber today and I forgot it was today – AAAARRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH – the joys of middle age! Happy Sunday XX

  12. As always, all of your fill-ins are fantastic! I really like how you answered #3. How sweet and inspiring. Purrs! And ahoy to pirate Angel KaTwo!
