My Answers:

1. The first thing I check when I go online is READ COMMENTS ON THE LATEST POST. I LOOK FORWARD TO THIS EVERY DAY. ( I talk to my Mom at 7:30 AM and she always tells me how many comments I have).

2. My signature dish is LASAGNA ( I always offer to bring it to gatherings).

3. My Halloween night is usually  LIKE ANY OTHER NIGHT, VERY QUIET.

4. Trick or treaters  NEVER COME TO OUR HO– USE. ( I think the house is set back too far from the road).

And today’s word for the #JHC is full moon.  Penny   Can you guess who is giving you a full moon?

  1. That full moon is so funny! We just finished our fill-in post. Yum…lasagna. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  2. Ha! Good one for full moon!

I just made a lasagna last week! It is one of my signature dishes, too.

Too bad those trick-or-treaters are missing out on all of your decorations!

Hugs, my dear friend! Happy Halloween!

  3. If we didn’t get trick or treaters to our door, Sweetie would have us spend time giving out candy elsewhere — it’s one of his favorite things!

  4. Loving your fill-ins………I had a tough time coming up with my signature dish – I have several including biscotti but also my potato salad is a big favorite – my Mom’s recipe. We always are online at 3AM checking email and trying to at least get caught up from the day before…..we just have more and more to keep up with anymore….not that I’m complaining – just getting more friends!!

    Love, Pam (and Sam)

    1. I am always amazed at how early you get up. I am sure you get more done that way. I can’t wait to make your biscotti. Love to you both!

  5. We love your fill-ins! We also love lasagna. Some years we don’t get many trick-or-treaters, especially when it’s cold or rainy. This year, though, it’s supposed to be warmer and dry for Halloween, so I hope to have lots of trick-or-treaters. And, that is the purrfect full moon!

  6. I love lasagna. We haven’t had it in ages.

That is a funny full moon shot. That kitty looks like one we used to have and also one that I had as a teenager. Her name was Calico (very original, I know haha).

I look forward to the comments, too. I appreciate you being such a faithful commenter on our blogs. 🙂

    Have a blessed day!

    1. You should make a lasagna, it freezes well so you could divide it for several meals. I hope you had a great day.

  7. Now that is a special full moon. Great picture. Lasagna is one of the Mom’s favorite dishes too. We usually don’t have any trick or treaters either. You all have a great day.

  8. There will be hundreds of kids on Halloween, but we’ll be on our boat where it’s quiet. I’m not a big fan of Halloween.

    Have a fabulous day. ☺

  9. Have no idea who’s bottom that is; maybe you need to add photos of every kitty with their names? Halloween is The Hubby and my anniversary of our first date, so we usually go out to dinner and leave the candy-handing-out to folks with kidlets.

    1. That is Penny, our only tortie. That is sweet you still celebrate the anniversary of your first date. We do once in a while.

  10. Your full moon made me laugh! It seems that our furkids love to share that side with us… and with company! 🙂 I play my turn at online games first thing, then check for new blog posts and Facebook updates. It’s a fun way to keep in touch. Mmmm, lasagna is delicious, and it is a lot of work to make it! Our Halloween is quiet like yours, we watch fun Halloween shows on TV, not horror movies!!

    1. Thank you, glad you liked our full moon 🙂 I have a great recipe that you don’t have to cook the noodles ( you use the real ones too, not the no cook) and that makes it really easy.

  11. OH, I love my Penny but please my sweetheart! Where is your modesty?? Thank goodness for the flower!!!

I sent you a little card yesterday – I hope you get it before Halloween is over!! (Okay, so did Simon to Joanie and BobbieSue to Millie – But my sweetheart is way more important.) Okay, I have to go, I’m being attacked right now by angry in-love cats!!!

    1. Penny is sorry Toby, but like you wrote at least she had a flower covering her. 🙂 My kitties look forward to their cards and make sure you check your mail too 🙂 XO

  12. Great fill in and we love lasagna!!
We don’t have any trick or treaters here any more. All of the children who used to come have grown up. In the middle of our neighborhood there is a Halloween cook out at 5:30 then the kids leave to trick or treat in that area. Folks do drive children from other areas here but we leave our light off
    Hugs madi and mom

  13. I love lasagna and use to make it for guest dinner and everyone liked it. I don’t make it much anymore. I do an enchilada casserole that is layered like lasagne.

  14. Since we don’t celebrate halloween then we’re glad nopawdy comes a knockin’ and hollerin’ at our door. And trust us, with a house full of kitties you’re better off too. MOL Big hugs fur all. Have a great weekend.

    Luv ya’

    Dezi and Raena

  15. I love your interpretation of full moon! 🙂 We don’t get a lot of trick or treaters either. Our street doesn’t have sidewalks and we don’t have a lot of kids in the neighborhood. But I’m glad we don’t get any or many–the kitties are stressed by the door bell, etc.

  16. Full moon… MOL! Awesome fill-ins! Our Mom’s signature dish is probably authentic homemade salsa WITHOUT garlic or vinegar. Our Halloween night is fairly quiet, too. We live in a neighborhood with an unhealthy amount of mean people so we keep everything dark and locked up tight and look forward to getting through without damage.

    1. Salsa without garlic or vinegar? I bet it is very good. Sounds like a scary place to live. We never leave our house unattended for more than 1/2 an hour because there is a lot of robberies due to heroin addicts everywhere.

  17. Mum loves lasagna too 😉
We do not get trick or treaters either.
There are not many homes near us and a trailer park is down the road
as well as homes around the lake.
    Purrs Georgia and Julie,
    Treasure and JJ

  18. LOL on the full moon! I’m sure your lasagna is better than mine. I love that you talk to your mom every day and that she tells you how many comments you have. 🙂

  19. Can you send some of that lasagna over here? MOL!
    1. The first thing I check when I go online is my comments. On the weekend Pop makes TW read them to him.
    2. My signature dish is TW’s pumpkin pie is popular but she always brings homemade fudge to the family gathering at Christmas. Pop makes peppers, potatoes and eggs.
    3. My Halloween night is usually same old same old. I used to spin some Halloween music at NipClub.
    4. Trick or treaters shouldn’t scare me. In fact they shouldn’t come here cos we don’t sign up for them.

  20. What a sweet full moon!! MOL! petcretary says if all full moons were like that there would not be issues with the moon phases at her work…OMC!!

    1. The first thing I check when I go online is my email, ther might be smthing important to know about.
    2. My signature dish is authentic Ditch Apple cake, but um…since going paleo we don’t smell that baking here anymore…we need to find a good substitute:) or invent one!
    3. My Halloween night is usually very quiet, because no trick or treaters come here, the pickings are too meager in the rural settings…so they kidlets go to the suburbs. The peeps go to church, because it is also Reformation Day. .
    4. Trick or treaters stay way from our den because the place is dark (on purpose), as the peeps go to church as we already noted. .

    1. I bet that apple cake is good. Can you have apples on Paleo? I bet you can figure out something similar.
