Time for the Friendly Fill-Ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. My answers:
1. You will never find cigarette smoke in my home. No one is allowed to smoke here. I have a sign that says if you’re smoking, you better be on fire.
2. Once a year, I buy a gigantic cabbage at the farm stand in town, shred it all in the food processor, fry it and freeze it in quart bags to use for lazy pierogi all year.
3. Taking cats in has gotten me in trouble. I have had to fight for almost every cat in this house. Although, my hubby was much better about the last three.
4. The last time I wore a bathing suit was when we were on our honeymoon-almost 28 years ago. I  haven’t been swimming since.

    1. You will never find xylitol in my home. It is toxic to animals. No psyllium either, I am very allergic to that stuff. Now I keep finding recipes that use it, yikes!

    2. Once a year, I try to get my closets reorganized…I hate that job…don’t think it will happen this year…too much other stuff going on, the best excuse ever, MOL!.
    3. My temper flares have gotten me in trouble, once in a while..
    4. The last time I saw my sister and cousins was when we all got together last November, don’;t think it will happen this year…(And another answer tor #2, actually, as we try to get together each year at that time to remember and celebrate our mutual Aunt.)

    I admit though that I used to smoke for a few years during my late 20s-early 30s. I detest the smell these days.

  5. Smoking is strictly banned in our home too.
    I have a friend of almost 50 years who is a heavy smoker. Every time she visited she would ask if she could open the window and put her head out to smoke. I used to tell her that if she did she would follow the smoke out of the window. She did eventually get the message and would go in the garden or greenhouse to smoke.

  7. No smoking here – EVER! Love all the filling ins because other than the cabbage shedding and taking in cats, my Mom says SHE could have put those same words in the blanks!! That photo of Lucy with the ghosts is totally adorable!

    Cigarette smoking isn’t allowed in our house, either. That stuff is awful to get out of every aspect of your home. People who smoke don’t realize how invasive the scent is. When DD#1 used to smoke I couldn’t stand being too close to her because her clothing, hair, … reeked of smoke. Ugh! Thanks for hosting the Friday fun. Have a good weekend!

  28. There are no smokers here either. Mom was walking us today, and a car went by with the windows open. The lingering smell of smoke as the car sped by was amazing. She could never live with that smell in the house either.

    2. Once a year, I eat creamed herring for good luck for the New Year. I should have had much more of it because 2020 has been a trial
    3. My quick temper has gotten me in trouble.
    4. The last time I filled up our vehicles with gas was when SSNS retired.

    1. Thank you for these great answers. We only have 2 braided rugs and I am tempted to ditch them as they nauseate the cats 🙂 I have heard black eyed peas for New Year’s is good luck too. I wish I had tried some. I can’t imagine you with a temper. Glad you haven’t had to fill the vehicles with gas. I never pump gas, I rode with my gas warning light on yesterday then got home and told hubby we need gas. 🙂 Have a nice weekend. XO

  34. No one smokes here except, apparently the downstair’s neighbor who’s smoke comes up into our condo. The air purifier doesn’t mind as much as we do.
