Hi everyone! Time for the Friendly Fill-Ins. Please leave your link at my co-host’s Four-Legged Furballs. I still can’t switch to text version to add the code and I haven’t had time to figure out the problem. You can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you.
1. _____________________ stresses me this time of year.
2. My favorite holiday film is ______________________.
3. If you ask me, _________ makes this season merry and bright.
4. _________ brings back memories.
My answers:
1. Everything stresses me out this time of year. Mainly too many people out shopping when I am.
2. My favorite holiday film is The Family Man-also one of my favorite Nicolas Cage movies.
3. If you ask me, seeing cats dressed up makes this season merry and bright.
4. Oplatki brings back memories. It is a Polish tradition on Christmas Eve to break this wafer with everyone present and wish 3 things for them like health, wealth and happiness. I have fond memories of breaking it with many great aunts and uncles that are now departed.
We are also joining Create With Joy’s Friendship Friday and Feline Friday currently hosted by Comedy Plus.
Angel Lucy wrote: That elf you sent to spy on us sleeps with the fishes.
WE like your answers to the fill ins.
Mum’s favourite tradition is her siblings getting together for Christmas dinner..
Mum likes A Christmas Carol with Alastair Sim. An old black and white movie!
Purrs,Georgia and Julie
Thank you 🙂 That is a good version- I also like the one with Patrick Stewart. XO
What great fill-ins. Not familiar with that movie that’s your favorite – but always on the lookout for more holiday movies for our collection! Love the flashback letters to Santa. Everyone really put a lot of thought into what they wanted! Thanks for co-hosting the fill-ins – everyone just loves doing them!
Hugs, Teddy and Mom Pam
Thank you 🙂 XO
Great flashback of your Angels and their letters to Santa. I dislike being in crowds when shopping at any time, and try to get last minute things locally or online.
Thank you 🙂 I shop a lot online. XO
Lovely flashback and fill-ins!
Thank you 🙂 XO
Good to see the two Angels. We like your traditiion a lot. Hope you have a really good day.
Thank you 🙂 XO
Crowded stores bother me, too. It’s why i like to shop at the 24 hour places at around 5am, no one is there.
Wonderful flashbacks, and thanks for hosting!
Good idea, but I am never up that early.
Angel Lucy… making me laugh big time! Angel Snowball, you got a great picture. I love your #4!
My Fill-Ins…

Great fill in answers! Hope you have a great weekend!
Thank you 🙂 You too!
Great answers. That sounds like a wonderful tradition. I’m glad we don’t have an elf or I’d be right with Angel Lucy.
Thank you 🙂 XO
MOL love your notes! And your fill-ins!
Thank you 🙂
Meowser Ms. Ellen! Katsu and I have never thought of writing to Santa for things, but we do ask if there is anything we can do to help.
Purrseidon
You are good kitties, you can ask Santa.

Those were great answers, we hadn’t heard of the Oplatkti thing either but it sounds nice. Love those sweet Angels.
Thank you 🙂
What nice fill in replies it’s the same here in London where I am so crowded drives me quackers 🙂
Had to laugh at Angel Snowball heheh!
Have a quiettastic weekend 🙂
Thank you 🙂 Have a nice weekend.
The Lithuanians do oplatki as well. I’m not Lithuanian, but Mary is, and so was the lady at whose house we did it one year. Of course, maybe it’s the melting pot effect, or maybe a Prussian thing, I dunno. In any event, it is a nice tradition.
And yes, I miss all the older people I grew up with.
I did not realize that. Very interesting.
You all have VERY reasonable requests of Santa and I think they wink all be fulfilled!
We hope so 🙂 XO
Always fun and interesting answers! It can get stressful this time of year with all the traffic and rushing around. I try to go out when it’s a little quieter.
Thank you 🙂 I prefer to be out when it is quieter too. XO
Christmas is such a stressful time – so much to plan and do! Sometimes I wonder why I love it so much. 🙂
That is a great film. Yes, old decorations do bring back memories.
My favourite Christmas film is “Christmas Vacation”- the one about the guy with all the lights on his house.
Checkout lines stress me out this time of year.
The old Christmas decorations bring back memories.
Those angels are so sweet! 😀
Thank you 🙂
Love the Santa letters!!! Could not agree with #1 more.
Thank you 🙂
We’ve never heard of Oplatki. It sounds like a fun tradition.
It is 🙂
You’re the second (or first since you host the fill-ins) person to say “everything” stresses you this time of year. The thing that annoys me is how much traffic there is and how even a grocery store parking lot becomes a zoo. The rest…I just don’t stress about.
The angel kitties have sweet expressions.
The grocery store has been a zoo.
Mom has the same answer as you for fill in 1. I answered the remaining questions:
2. My favorite holiday film is Emmit Otter’s Jugband Christmas.
3. If you ask me, pussycats of the world make this season merry and bright.
4. My Petco rattle ball brings back memories.
Winks and purrs.
Thank you for these great answers Valentine. I have not seen that film, I will have to look for it. XO
I have to agree that everything is stressful this time of year. It’s important to enjoy the festive season, but sometimes you can’t help but get swallowed up by all the things that need done. And, as always, I’m loving seeing the kitties’ letters to Santa! Purrs!
We lost a week of prep time this year which adds to the stress.
Never heard of Optlaki. That is a really good Nicholas Cage movie. I am with you…everything stresses me out during the holidays. Love the flashback of Santa Letters. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
I watch that movie every year while wrapping gifts. XO
