My answers:
1. I would like to have been present when Nic Cage received his one and only Academy Award in 1996.
2. If I were a dog, my breed would be a German Shepard. I am large and sweet, but if anyone messes with my family- look out.
3. If I came with a warning label it would say: RUN! Just kidding, it would say must have cats.
4. I would want to take a piloted plane with me to a deserted island. So I could get right off.

My hubby spotted these beautiful lady slippers and he man.aged to get me out of the house to see them
Angel Phoebe was our nature lover. At the end of her life, we walked her on a harness and she loved it. I wish we had realized how badly she wanted to be outside sooner. This flashback is from September 2017 shortly before she left us.

  3. We really liked your fill-ins, especially #4. So nice to see sweet Phoebe. We know you miss her. We do as well. Now we have to see if we can come up with some decent answers for the fill-ins.

  4. Meowsr Ms. Ellen, why would you go to a desert island just to leave right away? I’m thinking that island means surrounded by water, so that sounds like a fun-fun-fun vacation to me… and plenty of seafood in that water, too!

  6. Gosh – why didn’t I think of an airplane – that would be the perfect “accessory” to take to a deserted island! Love the rest of your fill-ins too. I’m glad Phoebe got to enjoy some outside time – Teddy loves it and I guess always will. I’m sure he was an outdoor or feral or barn cat before we adopted him from the shelter because he is at his BEST out there. I know he could stay out all day but we try to take him out on his harness/leash at least 3-4 times a day. We just love her flashback.

    1. Thank you. I wish I had realized sooner about Phoebe. She used to meow at us when we were outside and we thought she was saying hi, but he was saying- let me out! XO

  7. I remember seeing Leaving Las Vegas after I had my wisdom teeth removed. I was so heavily medicated, I don’t remember a whole lot of it – maybe it’s time to watch it again! I miss Phoebe 🙁

    1. Yes, you should watch again. I am lucky I didn’t need my wisdom teeth out. We miss Phoebe a lot, thank you for missing her too. XO

  31. I always look forward to your fill-ins! I wondered if your past event would involve Nic Cage. Truth be told, I had completely forgotten about his Academy Award. Good for him! And we both had similar thoughts on being stranded on a desert island. It’s best to bring along something that can get you back home.

    Phoebe looked so happy walking outside with you. I also love how pretty she looked in that pretty pink dress!
