Yaheetech Cat Tree Review

Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. We are most thankful to have gotten to purchase a fantastic cat tree at a discount.

*Disclosure- We purchased a Yaheetech Cat Tree at a discount in exchange for a fair review. All opinions are our own.

The tree arrived very quickly- two days. I took everything out to make sure it was all there- and it was! I can’t tell you how many times I have ordered something only to have it be missing a part. And all the holes were drilled through which is a miracle. My hubby usually has to get the drill out , but this time he didn’t have to and I actually put it all together by myself- well, with the help of Joanie and Sammy. The only tool needed was an Alan wrench which was was included. The entire tree was assembled in less than 30 minutes- by me! I realize for many of you that is not a big deal, but I was quite proud of myself. And trust me, if I can do it- any one of you can do it too.

Joanie inspecting the first part. As you can see, the condo part has plenty of room for Joanie. That section is 13.4″ x 16.5″ x 11.2’’ (LxWxH).

All the posts are covered in sturdy sisal rope. And the rest in covered in a plush carpet. The base board is very wide to insure stability, it is : 25″ x 19.3″

It also came with a safety strap that I am not planning to use as it is already quite sturdy. Sammy is 17 pounds of pure love and he barely rocked the tree when he jumped on it.

Sammy was lucky to get a turn because Joanie thinks it belongs to her and her Gremmie. I assembled it in the bedroom so I could put the pieces on the bed instead of the floor. I had planned to move it into the living room, but now I may leave it in the bedroom so I don’t break Joanie’s heart.

The only small part that would only be good for a kitten is the tunnel which measures, 8 inches wide and 9 inches long. Joanie decided it was the perfect size for Gremmie.

I am very pleased with this cat tree. The regular price for this 62 inch tree is only $73.99 which includes shipping. They also have many other sizes and styles and a wide selection of colors. Our tree is the Yaheetech 62-inch Cat Tree Condo with Scratching Post Plush Perch and Tunnel, Cat Tower Furniture Gray. ( Click the name to be redirected to the product on Amazon). They had trees 51 inches -79 inches. I know many cats like to be up high but I chose the 62 inch instead of the 79inch because the 79 inch one would be to wide in our small house.

    1. I hope Joanie shares, Sammy only got a turn when she got down to go to the litterbox 🙂 XO

  1. That’s a great tree and concatulations for assembling it all by yourself too! The one Ted has was easy to put together as well – they really have made those things EASY to fix for our little furry friends.

    Hugs, Pam

  2. The thought pf assembling anything makes mommy swoon and reach for the smelling salts…

pee ess: It was impossible to comment on the G+ you and others had. I am SO glad they are gone. Now I get notifications and there you all ARE!

    1. I am sure she could assemble this or one of your favorite brothers could 🙂 I am glad you get notifications now. XO

  3. That sure looks like a great tree. We might have to look into getting one of those. Maybe the Mom could even put it together.
You all have a fun day with your new tree.

  4. That is a gorgeous tree – congrats on the construction! Trees are worth their weight in gold when they’re easy to put together – haven’t come across one yet that was easy. I’ll have to keep this one in mind, thanks!

  5. Well done! I’d be proud, too. It’s neat that you and your hubby have been together about as long as me and mine! We met in the summer of 1989. ~grin~ And nice pieces, Penny. Once again, I don’t know how I missed reading for so many days. Be well!

  8. Ellen,

NIce review. If I had cats then this would be a great thing to have. It looks like great fun for furry furriends to enjoy. Thanks for sharing.

  9. We don’t do cat trees:), but that sure is a very nice one. We bet all the kitties will enjoy it.

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  10. What a great treehouse and fort. Joanie indeed has lots of room which means there is room for another to sit and poke at her to leave. Alls fair in beds and forts. mol

    1. Thank you, I like the color too- Joanie does too because it matches her. XO

  11. What a great product! Maybe a tree in our bedroom would make the cats leave us alone at night.

  12. That tree looks wonderful. Hey, our peeps got new furnture, we shuld to. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

  13. Now THAT I like. Often something is missing, or its a struggle, but these people have really done their job properly and the result is an awesome cat tree that is ‘user friendly’ and well loved by the cats.

Thank you for your excellent review.

  14. It’s not always easy to find the purrfect cat tree, but this one looks the part! The kitties here have just about done in the oldest cat tree at our house, so I think I’ll start looking into replacing it with one of these. Thank you for sharing this with us, and have fun climbing that tree, kitties!

  15. That is quite the tree! Even the regular price doesn’t seem bad for one that big.
Good for you putting it together yourself! You deserve to be proud that you did it yourself! Whenever I get something that needs assembly, hubby does it for me, so I totally get that.

  16. Charlee: “Oooh, a new cat tree!”
    Chaplin: “We want it!”
Lulu: “Don’t you already have two cat trees?”
Charlee: “You can NEVER have too many cat trees.”
    Lulu: “But why?”
    Chaplin: “You’re a dog. You wouldn’t understand.”
