Friendly Fill-Ins Week 150

Hi everyone! Time for the Friendly Fill-Ins. Please leave your link (at bottom of post) here or at my co-host’s Four-Legged Furballs. You can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you.

1. I am allergic to ____________________.
2. My taxes __________________.
3. I don’t tell many people _________.
4. When it rains, _________.
My answers:
1. I am allergic to penicillin. I get allergy shots for allergies to mold, cats and trees. I was never that affected by them, but since getting the shots, I don’t get sinus infections so they must help.
2. My taxes are still not done. My hubby gathers everything and sends it to the accountant, but hasn’t done it yet despite my reminders.
3. I don’t tell many people my weight. I actually tell the nurse at the Dr.’s office not to tell me so I am not sure, but it isn’t good.
4. When it rains, I just want to stay inside and nap with my cats.

This week is also the Pet Photo Fails Blog Hop hosted by Melissa’s Mochas, Mysteries and Meows in memory of Roby Sweet.
I was trying to get a photo of Trouble in the “stuff” box so I put a treat in it. It didn’t go as I planned though.

We are also joining Create With Joy’s Friendship Friday and Feline Friday currently hosted by Comedy Plus. We are also joining FiveSibes Flashback Friday.

Starting Sunday we will have three weeks of Catburry Bunny Audition selfies. Here is a photo of  Angel Lucy from 2015.

And Angel Stinky.

  1. I shopped for swimsuits on-line and realized half the suits in my cart look eerily similar to suits my Mom wore (at the time, you thought of them as old women suits). I swear … one of the suits was an exact copy! Imagining myself in swimwear is bad enough! But now I’m old? And with the same taste as my Mom? That seems kind of random – but your comment about your weight made me think of this. I’m a … big girl.

  2. HAHA! We both chose to talk about our weight for #3. I have no problem telling my age but my weight? FORGETABOUTIT! Love the Cadbury Bunny photos – it’s part of our Easter to see your gang in “ears” !!

    Hugs, Pam

  3. Oh wow Catbunnies abound, how exciting! And what’s even more exciting is your Xmas card posted on 13th of December 2018 finally arrived yesterday, thank you so very much and we’re going to write to Royal Mail to see why it took so long this side of the pond to get delivered! MOL Hope mew’ve had a great week and Amber says yes she’d love to review Emmy’s book when it comes out and is really excited about that too! XOX

    1. WOW! I wonder where it was? I mailed it before Christmas. Emmy is thrilled that Amber will review her book. XO

  4. Time for Catbunny photos already, wow.

We have family members who are allergic to different antibiotics, and i have to keep up with who is allergic to what. The other allergies aren’t so dangerous.

Allergy shots helped me when i was a teen, i’m glad you are getting some relief.

  5. 1. I am allergic to nothing that I know of.
    2. My taxes are done.
    3. I don’t tell many people but I goofed around in college so much I almost flunked out. I didn’t want to be there.
    4. When it rains, I am always so happy for the trees.

I am looking forward to Catbury Bunny Auditions!

    1. You are lucky to have no allergies, also lucky to have taxes already done. I goofed around my first year in college, but then I smartened up. 🙂 XO

  6. No-one, and I mean no-one apart from the nurse who weighs me before every scan knows my weight! I always tell her not to say it out loud because Ivor is usually in the consulting room with me.
The Catbury Bunny Auditions look like they will be fun.
That is a cute and funny photo of Trouble

  7. Love Trouble. That’s my kind of kitty. I always enjoy angel shots. They are full of wonderful memories.

Love all your answers. Hubby will file our taxes next week. He starts them in January each year. I hate taxes.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. My best to your mom. ♥

  8. Your kitties are all so very cute. 🙂

I’m allergic to penicillin, too. I had my first anaphylactic experience at less than 2 weeks of age. I haven’t had it since. I’m glad the allergy shots are helping you with the other allergies.

Is your hubby waiting for another piece of paperwork to come in, is that why he’s putting off doing the taxes?

I don’t usually tell folks my weight either. David, Laynie, and Maggie know it, but that’s about it.

Rainy days are great nap days, aren’t they? 🙂

    Have a blessed weekend, Ellen!

    1. Thank you. No, he is just a procrastinator. I won’t even tell my mom my weight. I hope you have a blessed weekend too. XO

  9. I am allergic to penicillin, as well. We have an appointment with our CPA next week. Yikes! IMO, our weight is no ones business but our own except for medical reasons and the attending physician. When it rains, I write. Happy Friday!

  10. Every once in awhile, The Hubby sneezes, and exclaims, “I’m allergic to cats!” My response: “Guess you are moving out!” LOL! He is NOT allergic, but he likes to passive/aggressive me sometimes.

  11. MOL Trouble you are doing a head stand in the ‘stuff’!
My doctor’s office has the weight in kilograms I guess. There is a conversion chart on the wall but the print is very small AND I make no effort to read it.
    LOL
    Hugs Cecilia

  12. Great,—or do mean not so great—bloopers. TW’s cousin (my Uncle) saves the family taxes until the last few days. He’s one of those Turbo Tax personal tax preparers. Back when the tax laws were simpler, TW used to do her taxes as well as her parents. She didn’t know if she did their’s right but they never got audited. TW is allergic to all antibiotics except tetracycline which she was allergic too as a teenager. She’s actually not allergic to penecilin but it gives her bloody squirts so she can’t take it. TMI!

  13. Ahhhh. Yes I can see how the great plan for the photo failed there….. Great plan and well executed by feline assistant, but shame said feline didnt have a copy of the plan, MOL
Photo Fail Purrs, and better luck on take 2!

  14. We have a rainy day here today and possibly some severe storms. We will be napping a lot today too. A couple of the grands have very bad seasonal allergies, and they are miserable now with itchy eyes.

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  15. Catbunnies! How fun!

Our mom’s allergic to penicillin, too. Ragweed, perfumes and shellfish as well. As for what’s going on with her lately, we hope it’s not us!

    1. She has a lot of allergies. I hope it is not you either, but she can get allergy shots. XO

  16. I always enjoy your answers! My favourite thing on a rainy day is also napping with my cats. They like to cozy up with me and that is really sweet.

  17. Wow! I can relate to your fill-ins. I don’t tell anyone my weight and asked my doctor not to tell me. We changed our eating and exercise lifestyle on January 5th and I refuse to weigh so I don’t get discouraged. We are supposed to have a rainy weekend and I plan on binging Hallmark movies!

  18. Good fill ins and we men are just slow with things at times. Our taxes are languishing also. Love the adorable angel bunnies and cant wait for those coming

  19. My mom, bless her, is just about done with my taxes. She does mine, my sister’s, hers and my dad’s, and sometimes my uncles’. As for weight, I don’t weight myself anymore. I actually don’t even have a functioning scale at home. I’m one of those weird people who actually does enjoy working out, kickboxing being my favorite, but I also love to eat. And I love how in her photo, Trouble looks like one of those magician’s assistants who magically gets cut in half. Trouble is way cuter than any of those magician’s assistants, though. Purrs!

    1. I bet kickboxing burns a lot of calories 🙂
      Trouble thanks you 🙂

  20. 1. I am allergic to artificial tears, psyllium, quinine, trauma causes histamine release which is called ‘derma-graphism’; cold(Yes cold, I get hives)pet dander, and man types pf pollen. Also to coke.I get severe cramps….yup, I am weird!
    2. My taxes get done by hubby I would go beserk if I had to do the USA tax forms. The Canadian ones seemed a lot easier when I used to do those..
    3. I don’t tell many people at work that I was an RN before I got married.
    4. When it rains, I worry that the dogs will be too disgruntled to go outside to ‘do their business’…and that they will go on the carpet by the doggy doors…or worse in the house..

    1. Thank you for these great answers. You are allergic to a lot of things. I am sure your RN skills are very handy in your job now. I hope your pups don’t go potty in the house. 🙂
