1. Being _______________ is _____________________.

2.If ___________________ were worth money, then I would be rich.

3. I am proud of _________.

4. If I could time travel, I would visit the year _________.
My answers:
1. Being cold is so much better than being hot. Bye-Bye summer, hello fall 🙂
2. If cat poop were worth money, then I would be rich.
3. I am proud of my niece. She is a wonderful wife and mother. She works full time
( currently on maternity leave) and is so good at her job as a pharmaceutical sales rep.
4. If I could time travel, I would visit the year 1948 which is when I think my Dad started smoking at around age 15. I would try to convince him not to ever start so he would not die at age 68 of COPD.
We are also joining Create With Joy’s Friendship Friday and Feline Friday currently hosted by Comedy Plus.
Poor Gremmie fell off his skateboard at recess and hurt his ear. We just can’t find a helmet big enough to cover those ears.

  1. Awww I’m so sorry that more of our kitty friends have crossed the Bridge. That is so very sad. 🙁

I agree with you wholeheartedly about hot vs. cold. I would much rather be cold. You are so blessed to get a fall and a real winter!

Your cat poop statement made me laugh. I feel the same way! Tiglet and the Soot Sprites are major pooping machines. haha

Your niece sounds like a wonderful girl. 🙂

I am so sorry about your daddy. (((Hugs)))

    Have a blessed weekend, Ellen!

  2. I hear you about the cat poop. We ended last year with no cats at all in the house. We now have four. I cannot imagine how much cat poop you have to deal with. We have two litter pans here and they have to be emptied at least twice per day, usually more.

    Have a blessed week.

  3. We haven’t never played this before! Maybe next week I will get the old bat to help me a little!

We wish all three of our furiends Godspeed on their journey and we send love and purrs to their families. XOXOXO

  4. We are so sorry that so many friends are crossing the Rainbow Bridge. It is very hard to say goodbye. I enjoyed your answers especially 2 & 4. You have cat poop and I have dog hair! I wish I could go back and never start smoking too. I’m sorry about your dad. ♥

  5. You lost three blog friends this week, and i lost a friend and client this week. It must be the week for losses, and my heart goes out to all who are grieving right now.

That is a lovely idea about trying to help your daddy, i wish i could get people i know who smoke to quit also.

Maybe Gremmie needs to have a kerchief tied around those ears so they will fit under a helmet.

  6. Great answers! Purrticularly the one about 1948 – that would be much better than seeing dinosaurs!

  7. What wonderful fill-ins……we are very sad to hear about Gremmie’s skateboard accident though. He needs head protection – how about a cereal bowl ????? 🙂

    Hugs, Teddy

  8. So many losses! I suppose that happens when you’re the type of person to make so many kitty connections. ~hugs~ Poor Gremmie! ~grin~ I found it interesting to learn that your niece works in the same field as one of mine. And she gave birth last January! Be well, my dear.

    1. Yes, that is the only downside to blogging. That is funny, my niece had her 2nd child in June.

  9. I am so sad that so many friends have left us this week.
I agree about preferring to be cold rather than hot. It is much easier to add an extra layer and warm up than try to cool down. We often get high humidity in the winter as well as summer, but you don’t notice it when it is cold.

  10. I am so sorry for all the furry friends we lost.

Great fill ins – I wish I had thought of cat poop. I’d definitely be wealthy. I also wish I had thought of going back in time to convince my father not to smoke. We lost him 3 years ago to lung cancer 🙁

Hope you have a great weekend!

  11. We’re so sorry to hear of more passings. Gremmie…!! You like to take chances, don’t you? Poor Joanie must have gotten an awful fright. We hope that ear heals quickly.

  12. I prefer cold to hot as well, although I’m sure I’ll be complaining about cold temps in winter 🙂
It’s so sad so many kitties have gone to the bridge. Sincere condolences to their families.

  13. It is so sad to see so many friends make the journey to the Rainbow Bridge. We are sending purrs and prayers to all of the angels’ families.

Fabulous fill-ins! I agree 100% with #1. I love piling on cozy sweatpants and sweatshirts in the colder months. Oh, and do I wish cat poop was worth its weight in gold, because I think a lot of us would then be set for life. And it always sounds to me like you have so many good reasons to be proud of your niece. I’m so sorry about your father. Multiple of my uncles smoke, and it breaks their daughters’ (and their entire family’s) hearts knowing what it could be doing to them.

Oh no, Gremmie! At least Joanie is a wonderful nurse. Perhaps you could rock some socks on your ears to protect them?

  14. So sorry about your dad. What a wonderful wish though.

I hate it when the kitties go to the bridge. Doggies too.

Gremmie does have been ears. I’m sure you’ll figure out what needs doing.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. ♥

  15. It’s not that I don’t like autumn, it’s just that winter is next, and in the wintertime, I fret, fret, fret over The ‘O’ Cats! Gremmie does have really big ears, just sayin’

  16. guyz…..we iz sew reddy ta say good bye ta summer N hello fallz….but then we will be crankee azzed when winterz getz heer hopin for spring….yur mom iz veree veree wise…..that wood be grate ta bee abe bull ta go bak in time N say….hold up a minit….♥♥♥:)

  17. Condolences to the passing kitties from me too 🙁

Nice fill-ins especially the last one I would do that to my mum too

I prefer being cold to hot too 🙂

    Have an autumnaltastic weekend 🙂

  18. It seems many furbabies are leaving for the bridge right now.
Great answers. Had to chuckle about the cat poop, though. I can absolutely understand you would want to help your father, it’s a sad thing he died so early.

  19. It is so-o hard to say goodbye to furr-iends and we’ve lost so many this year it seems.

Here are my fill-ins: 1. looking cute is something that comes natural to me 2. mousies 3. myself 4. 2012 when I was adopted by Mom and Dad

  20. We enjoyed your fill-in answers. Glad to see the fall season rolling in soon. It’s still humid here, but we agree with you that we rather be cold then hot. Hope you are enjoying a lovely day. Thanks for the share.

  21. The Tribe of Five was so sad to see all the feline furiends who crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We’re sending prayers to their humans.
The cat poop answer was brilliant!
    Purrs & Head Bonks,
    Oliver

  22. There’s so much loss. 🙁

I’m sorry about your dad. Smoking is just terrible what it does to people.

Joanie, sorry about Gremmie’s ear, but it looks like you’re taking good care of him.

  23. #2 – Oh my gosh that is hilarious! We need to laugh sometimes.

And I’m so glad this summer is over. It was horrible. Looking forward to the cool weather!

  24. I am so sad when our furriends fly away. I always feel so lonely without their precious company.

  25. It was a hard week for loved cats…

    1. Being rained on for weeks is getting REALLY annoying.
2.If kibbles were worth money, then we would be poor because we eat them all.
    3. I am proud of cool face-markings (Marley).
    4. If I could time travel, I would visit the year TBT was about 2, so I could see how silly a kitten he was (by all of us).

    1. Thank you for your answers, I enjoyed them. I agree Marley, you do have cool markings. I can imagine all that rain is awful. I wonder if TBT was a cat lover back then. 🙂

  26. It seems like the Rainbow Bridge is overflowing lately with all the passings – so sad for too many.

Mom says she doesn’t like the heat or the cold. But at least with a/c and a good furnace, she can get comfy. She loves the spring and fall when she is just right:0

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  27. If worry were worth money, I would be rich! I seem to have gotten the worry gene from my Mom. At least she passed on some good things too, like my love of animals. 🙂

  28. Sorry you lost your daddy. Smoking isn’t the onlyu cause of COPD tho’. Mommy has asthma and it can really zonk her sometimes. Big hugs

    Luv ya’

    Dezi and Raena
