My answers:
1. Spending time with cats keeps me happy and calm.
2.Soaking pans in dishwasher liquid or powder with water ( not dish liquid) is the secret to removing grease and burnt on food. ( Sorry, I don’t know the secret to life).
3.A friend is someone to treasure.
4. Right now, I am thankful that Emmy is on my lap ( which is pretty much anytime I sit down now ).

  3. Spending time with Emmy is probably good for you, too. They say that petting cats and dogs reduces our risk of stroke and mental illness. I wonder who “they” is. Could “They” be a bunch of cats?

  12. Great answers! To add to #2, the quicker you soak the pan, the easier the grease is to remove later. If it’s one thing TW knows it’s to clean up spills and stuff right away before they set. TW wishes I was a lap cat.

    1. I had to have it, clearance after Easter at Walgreens, it was filled with jellybeans- $2 🙂

  15. I completely agree with you on #1! And I just love that beautiful Emmy is a lap kitty. Eddy is my main lap kitty, especially at night when we’re watching TV from the couch. And what an adorable lemon! Lemons are one of the fruits that I always have on hand, as I drink lemon water every single day. Since I always have lemons lying around, my sister got me a glass lemon figurine as a joke. That joke grew and grew, though, and now I collect all kinds of lemon knickknacks. Happy Friday!

  18. Yes to spending time with cats and feeling happiness and calm. We found out a couple of days ago that our neighbors have two cats! We met them… Liza and Brady… Brady is a BIG ginger and Liza is a little brown tabby with white paws. They wondered if we would be interested in cat sitting when they leave for short periods of time and of course we said YES! Mrs. Potato Head with her grocery cart and the lemon… Hahaha! Emmy is a sweetie… I am glad she decided that your lap was a most excellent place to be.

    2. Really liking the person you committed to when you said “I do” is the secret to a happy marriage. Just my opinion… love is great, but you better really like that person that you spend your days with.

  23. Sometimes knowing how to get rid of grease and burnt in food is more helpful than every philosophy about life in general. I like your practical approach. And Emmy looks so relaxed and happy, it makes me happy just to look at the picture.

  27. Mom was very excited as to the dishwasher liquid getting rid of burnt on food or stubborn stuff stuck to the dishes. She excites at the drop of a hat anyway. She’s still yakking about wearing her nightie and housecoat during the day. mol

  31. Awww, Emmy is a cutie pie! We liked your fill ins! The potato head reminded our mommy about the Toy Story Mania game at Disneyland and now she’s wanting to go again!

    Spending time with Malou and Levon also makes me happy. Malou is a true lap cat and she really needs lots of love throughout the day which I am only too happy to give her! Levon loves to be cuddled first thing in the morning and then he is good to go 🙂

  35. That is a great lemon! Mrs Potato head knows what’s good:)
    I have had some pretty strangely shaped lemons, now and then, when you get the organic ones that happens…the shape at least doesn’t harm the goodness inside.

    1.Work, housekeeping and keeping Pipo, Dalton and hubby happy keeps me busy. But its mostly a good kind of busy!

    2. Love and patience is the secret to mending the issues that plague rescue critters…and not only them but even peeps!
    3. A friend is like a precious jewel. .
    4. Right now, I am thankful that I am healthy and can still work, and do all the things I need/want to do. .

  41. I wish Cooper and Sawyer would be lap cats, but no such luck. Misty May is my pillow cat and seems to take up more of it as years go by. She truly believes it belongs to her!
