  1. Ellen,

We started watching ‘The Black List’ but after season one we sorted got pulled a different direction. We’re going to need to do some binge-watching to catch up soon. What I hate about the alarm clock going off is if I’ve been awake for an hour and then I finally get sleepy just before that dang thing goes off. That really ruffles my fur.

Your kitty is like, you can’t fool me. This isn’t a FISH. Oh sure, you did a fab job crocheting but seriously? Throw it back and bring me the real deal. 🙂

Nice crocheting job and so cute!

  2. F is for FISHIE! Love the crocheted toys you make….they are so adorable and special. I’ve always thought ANYTHING “homemade” was special – food or otherwise! HAPPY FRIDAY!

    Hugs, Pam

  3. Ellen, I attended my first ‘how to crochet ‘ class a month or so ago, to help make octopuses for premies, but now I have to wait until my hand heals. I am determined to crochet again!

  4. Great answers to the fill-ins. Just look at that cute fish, KaTwo. Those toys are the best. You all have a wonderful week end.

  5. My husband really likes The Black List too. I’m very much with you on #2! KaTwo looks cute with the fish. I wish crocheting came easy for me. I’m not good with understanding patterns.

    1. You’re supposed to freeze berries on a sheet first? Uh… Heh… Glad to say the individual blueberry servings turned out great just popped right into fold-top sandwich bags and packed into a zip-lock freezer bag. ~grin~ Thank you for the great comment.

  6. Black List is an excellent show. Love it too. Wish we could get the next season though.

Love the crochet you are doing. Very cute.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. My best to your mom. ♥

    1. This is an odd season , I really liked it last season with the Mrs. Kaplan story line
Thank you. I hope you have a great weekend too. XO

  7. I agree 100000% with you on #2! I love days when I can just stay home and cuddle the furbabies. And I just adore your crochet creations. I have no abilities with needles and yarn, so I admire your skill. That being said, what an adorable fish you made! The kitties over here play with your crocheted toys all the time. Thimble has to be your #1 fan. She goes wild over your toys on a daily basis. Happy Friday!

  8. Great fill-ins this week! Our Mom agrees with you for 2 through 4 (she doesn’t watch much TV), and says she’s been considering getting back into crocheting. “But, you know, cats and yarn. . . ” She always says. She thinks she knows us so well.

  9. I’ve never tried crocheting, but I used to knit a little (not very well, and I could only make long rectangular things). Now, Paisley gets out of control whenever she sees yarn, so that hobby had to be put aside! 🙂

    1. That is funny that Paisley gets excited about yarn.Emmy sometimes tries to floss with it.

  10. I’m with you about #2 and #3! I did crocheting long ago as it was one of school programs, but I’ve forgotten how to do it. Love that fishie 🙂

    1. It is a great show, always another twist. I wonder whose bones are in the suitcase.

  11. I will have to google The Black List… I have not heard of it. I so understand your #2. I am up and around at 5AM but I can’t function until around 10 and I don’t really get rolling till after lunch. I would love to crochet or knit, I think it would be soothing. I love your crocheted art… the fishie is a winner!
    1. A nap is one of my favorite things to do in the afternoon.
    2. I don’t ever plan to turn down a cheeseburger!
    3. I have a hard time psyching myself up to go to the grocery store.
    4. Getting totally absorbed in watching Tinykittens Rescue TV is easy for me.
Have a wonderful weekend Meowing Crew!

    1. Thank you for your answers, I enjoyed them. I like to nap in the afternoon too 🙂 And I will never turn down a cheeseburger except on a Friday during Lent and Ash Wednesday. What channel is this Tinykittens rescue tv on? I want to see that.
The Blacklist is good with lots of twists and turns. Have a nice weekend. XO

      1. Tinykittens.com The 24 hour stream is on YouTube and is the first square on the home page. There are three feral pregnant moms there now… Chloe, Ramona, and Rula. They are due in 10 or so days. Pregnant for the last time. They will be spayed and all the kittens will spayed/neutered and homes will be found for them.

        1. Thank you. I will check it out. I am glad they will be spayed and get good homes. XO

  12. Hi, I thought maybe you were doing the A to Z since I saw you over at Kathy’s… so I’m here and I figured I’ll say hello anyway… soooooooooooooooo HELLO! I see you like to crochet too! I love it and in fact I’m working on a bed apron from my nephew and his future wife. They’re getting married June 3rd… woo hoo cannot wait. If you want to see things I’ve done you can check it out on my Pinterest. Have a great weekend! hugs

  13. I’ve never heard of Black List.

I bet it is fun to be home with your kitties. 🙂

I like to crochet, too. I am working on a hat for Maggie right now. She is starting a blog for her kitty cat Martha. I’ll let you know when she has her first post ready. Maggie and Martha also want to thank you for the sweet gift. 🙂

    Have a blessed weekend!

    1. It is a good show, but there is a lot of violence.
      I love being home 🙂
I hope you will show us photo when you finish the hat. I am glad Maggie and Martha like the gift 🙂 XO

  14. 1. Listening to classical music is one of my favorite things to do, while I am working, relaxing or at the confuser.
    2. I like to go walking along the back roads here where I live, though I have a couple of favorite routes that I frequent more often. I did one of the shorter faves today, and I spotted a herd of deer…they were spooked and it was a good thing it was a back road and not the highway. Dalton loves to join me:)
    3. I have a hard time going to sleep, staying asleep and getting to enough good rest…insomnia since age 12 is such a pain…but I just try to relax and eventually I do get a good night now and then. .

    4. Crocheting is (was) easy for me, but I no longer have the time to make all the baby blankets I used to make, by using a pattern book and inventing my own designs. All the ones I have made after I learned all the basic stiches are originals. I had to make photos of them to keep a record of what they looked like, cause I gave them all away! Well, except the one I made for our babies…and a matching christening gown. The boys would be embarrassed to see themselves in that ‘dress’, MOL! (I have a half finished one in the closet…maybe sometime there might be a grandchild…hope so) Knitting is not one of my strengths, nor is sewing…

    1. Thank you for these great answers. I can’t knit either. You should try to crochet before bed, it makes me sleepy. Have you tried melatonin ? I take that supplement to help me sleep sometimes. It does help. That is great that you go walking, I should because I need exercise. XO

  15. Ms. Fish seems to be liked by pussy cat but your pussy cat seems distracted. I never got into the Blacklist but I am waiting for The Orville.

  16. I smiled when I read #3. I only started using snooze in the past couple of years, but I think I’m addicted. My brain knows it can get 10 minutes more sleep and fights getting out of bed. I’m glad to hear I’m not alone. 🙂
