3. Happy XMAS ( War is Over):

And for Comedy Plus’ Awww….Monday, here is Sammy working on his Christmas cards

  1. I see Sammy is working hard on his cards – Mom got hers done this weekend and they will go out today with MINE! Thanks for the musical treats too………

    Hugs, Teddy

  2. Have to haul mine out too. I have yours and it’s going on my Christmas card page. XXX

  3. Awww, Sammy is adorable and working so hard.

Love all the music. I stick with my favorites too.

Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week, Ellen. Scritches to all the kitties. ♥

  4. Sweet! And there’s nothing wrong with sticking to favorites.

On that note, back in the nineties I took a VHS tape (!) of “The Thing” on a business trip and watched it all alone in my room. The horrendous plot unfolds at an isolated, snowbound Antarctic science station, so I enjoyed a creepy good as a real life snowstorm raged outside the conference center/hotel. My husband still lauds this as being a very cool thing to do, especially since I blew off my colleagues’ dinner invitation.

“Thanks, boss, but I’ve got plans.”

It’s a fond memory: dining on excellent room service with a little wine, the movie, and a gas fire place warding off the dreary Pennsylvania cold. Heh… Be well!

  5. I absolutely love listening to Christmas music! Those are all great selections. There are sooo many from which to choose, I cannot pick a favorite. I do need to focus on getting my cards mailed. Seems like not very many people do that anymore.

  6. Those are lovely cards, and Sammy is sweet with his.
I surpassed myself this year. All my overseas cards were sent by the 2nd December and all the UK ones went today. Usually I am rushing to beat the last posting date.

  7. cool love the falling snow in your blog!!! Celestine and i wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!🎄🎄🎄 🎁🎁🎁🎅🎅🎅

  8. Dominick the Donkey! This song is such a fun and festive one. And your Christmas cards are so purrfect! We meant to get ours out in the mail far earlier, but they’ll be in the mail to all our friends very soon. Purrs!

  9. Dominick the Donkey came out when I was in elementary school – how I remember that song. Sarah McLachlan did a nice cover of John Lennon’s iconic anti-war holiday song, but Sia took it with that claymation video. Nice choices here!
