Caturday Saturday

Hi everyone! We are joining Athena’s Caturday Art Blog Hop and The Pet Parade.

For our art today, we want to give you a sneak preview of how Emmy appears in I’m Not a Skunk which will be released in a few months.

Emmy wanted to participate in Stunning Keisha’s 8 Facts About the Cat!

If you could do anything you wanted right now, what would it be?
Sit on my mom’s lap- I am actually doing that.
If money was no object, what would you do all day? I would buy mom a date with Nic Cage ( dad could go too) so she would shit up about him already.

Who would you want with you if you were stranded on a deserted island? Spitty! Sorry CK, I love him too.

Where do you most want to travel, but have never been? Nowhere. I like staying home.

What has been your biggest challenge? Getting my folks to realize I wasn’t a skunk so they would feed me.

What is your biggest success up until now? Getting into this family. And soon I will have a children’s book about me.

If you were to create a piece of art, what would the subject be? I am happy with the art above.

What one thing would you change if you had to do it over?  I wish I had lived here since I was a kitten.

  1. That is a gorgeous cartoon of Emmy, and I hope the book is very successful.
I like all the fill ins, and that is very generous of you Emmy to want to buy your mum a date with Nic Cage. (I think you have a typo there!)

  2. Such a sweet cartoon of you, Emmy. I hope the time passes quickly, so I can see and read your book soon…you know that curiosity 😉 Pawkisses for a Happy Caturday???

  3. Emmy! Your very own book! Your story is going to be a GREAT one for a book too and you look adorable in the artwork. I love your answers for the fill-ins and especially the one about buying a date for your Mom with Nic Cage (including the typo…tee hee).

    Hugs, Teddy

  4. Emmy, that is one darn cute cartoon of you. We are so excited about your book coming out. We are looking forward to that. You all have a super day.

  5. What great answers! Did they really think you were a skunk? If they did I can totally understand why they really wouldn’t want you to hang around.

    1. Thank you 🙂 Mom wasn’t sure, but Dad scared her into thinking I was.

  6. What a fun Q&A. Kitties do these the very best. Love the art work too.

Have a purrfect weekend. My best to your peeps. ♥

  7. LOL that you allow dad to join mom on her date w/ NC!

I’m so excited to hear about book and your illustration is just fabulous!

  8. We love this illustration of you, Emmy. And how exciting about your new book! You’re too cute to be a skunk, by the way. 🙂

  9. Emmy…what a treasure you are too…being an inspiration for your mom’s 2nd book.
If she decides to travel maybe it will be for a book promotion and I hope she comes to a book store near me
    Hugs Cecilia

  10. Emmy mom has a typo in this sentence. I thought you might like to know….
Nic Cage ( dad could go too) so she would shit up about him already.

    1. MOL! Yes, we know, but everyone thought it was funny so we left it. 🙂 XO

  11. Emmy, your image should be modeled by who you are. You’re adorable! Your authenticity will determine your success. ??❤

  12. What a cute illustration. GASP! An HBO word. Emmy, you used an HBO word. Thanks for playing along and answering the questions.

  13. Oh Emmy, those are great facts. You’ll have to come fur a play date when your book comes out. We can’t wait to hear all ’bout it. Big hugs

    Luv ya’

  14. I swear, typos which mom doers aplenty can be so funny! She had the big bad wooly one once. She still squirms.

  15. Charlee: “I know how you feel, Emmy. With my white markings on my back, I look a little bit like a skunk too.”
Chaplin: “You look a lot like a skunk.”
Charlee: “I do not! Only a little!”
Chaplin: “Uh-huh. Then how come ‘Skunk’ is one of your nicknames?”
Charlee (sighs): “The struggle is real, Emmy.”

  16. First of all, I love love love this illustration for Emmy’s book! Second of all, I cannot wait to read Emmy’s book. Third of all, I loved learning more about you, Emmy. It sure is nice that you would buy your mom (and dad) a date with Nic Cage. Purrs to all!

  17. We absolutely love the art! And the typo did give us a good laugh as well. You know, Spitty has many lady friends. They also include Katie Isabella and our own Misty May. He is definitely popular with the ladies. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
