Hi everyone! Looks like your folks are going to be staying in with you for a lot longer. I have come up with some more fun ideas to keep them amused so you can still get your 23 hours of sleep every day.
My folks are doing a 21 day meditation challenge hosted by Deepak Chopra and Oprah. It started 6 days ago, but you can still join. My folks have done three days of it so far. Dad said he heard mom snore on day one, but after that she did fine. To check it out, click here.
Our friends at Bionic Basil have all kinds of fun amusements for humans on their blog like puzzles, coloring pages and craft ideas. Click here.
How about a free course from Yale on the Science of Well-Being? Click here.
The blog, Happy Organized Life has a cool Bingo board to inspire you to declutter. Click here.
And from the blog, Organized 31, for the sticky, little people there is an indoor scavenger hunt. Click here.
The A-Z Blogging Challenge starts tomorrow, mom will be writing about cat-themed books.
We are joining Comedy Plus’ Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
You sure know whats what in the peeps amusement department, Penny!
Furry clevfur!
Petcretary alternates between puzzles and solitaire, when she has free time.
Thank you 🙂 XO
Can you believe that my human is just as busy as ever? She is studying up on the latest version of InDesign (or at least the latest version on her MacBook), and she often doesn’t have time for that!
I am glad she is keeping busy.
Those are good ideas.
It is so frustrating not to be able to see comments until the next day, and not see the header at all. I had a different computer when it happened in the past so it is not that. I use Chrome but have tried on Edge (which I don’t like) but it is exactly the same. I use Norton but they give you the green tick so it is not that.
I am at a loss to explain it, but hopefully it will eventually right itself like it did before.
I will have to look on my phone and see if it comes up properly there.
Jackie, we only see the header when we click on Home (of miss Ellen’s bloggie) and we’re now in The Edge and can see our comments immediately😸
Glad you can see your comments 🙂
Thank you Little Binky. I tried that and can now see the header from home and not the reader link. I still can’t see comments until the next day though. I have tried Edge too.
Sorry the comments don’t show up for you right away.
I am sorry it is not loading correctly for you. XO
Well…I think you have a purrfect list for the coming days, Penny😸Clean Pawkisses for a Happy Week ahead. Stay Save Healthy and Yourselfie🙏🐾😽💞
Thank you 🙂 XO
We are fortunate to have the internet with all that’s going on. So many things to discover and keep us busy!

Penny, so nice of you to share all of these great ideas!
As much as I’d love to work on meditating, right now I just need sleep, ’cause some once outside, now inside kitty likes to wake me up several times a night!
Thank you 🙂 That is funny 🙂
You always have such good ideas sweet Penny!
Thank you 🙂
So many tips Penny.. thank you so much. I use the Calm app for self guided meditation. I will be trying all your well being and meditation tips. Can’t wait for your Mom’s A to Z Challenge. Cracking up over the 23 hours of sleep!!!

These are fantastic tips, Penny! You kitties need your sleep, so it’s always best to keep the humans preoccupied. Otherwise, they can be a real nuisance, huh? We can’t wait to see what books you share for the A to Z Challenge!
Thank you 🙂 XO

TBT here: When I was a kid (back in the medieval ages) and we had a ginormous back yard that faded into “unowned property”, Mom used to make a big deal of birthdays. The highlight was the “Clue Game”. She would hand the Birthday Kid a first clue. Like “check out the swingset”. The Birthday Kid would have to read it out load and then everyone would run to the swingset to find another clue and whoever found it would read it out loud and everyone would go searching to the next place. It might be a new clue attached to the apple tree, the next a clue tped to the front steps, etc.
It always ended back in the house where the cake and ice cream was. But we were always surprised (kids, duh). And it was a thrilling chase to follow all the clues.
Not that birthday parties are a good idea right now, but creativity matters.
I myself used to amuse my younger siblings by re-hiding Easter eggs for new excitement of the finding. I was always one for sneaky games. I once gave a niece a book she probably would have liked. I stuck a $5 bill in the next to last page. She never mentioned it. Maybe she didn’t like the book and it is still there. But I followed Mom it doing odd things. We need more of that today while we are all stuck at home.
Sounds like your mom was a lot of fun.I think those odd ideas are best and most memorable.
We did a free meditation that our local library hosted this morning. I really enjoyed it and hope they do more. Also, check with your library for other free resources now–ours opened up their ancestry records!
Thank you 🙂 I will check that out.
Good ideas to keep the humans busy and out of your way! 🙂
Ellen, I am not getting email notifications for your posts, I assume it’s since you made some changes (love the header, BTW!). Should I just resubscribe? Thanks!
Thank you 🙂 Yes, I think you need to resubscribe- sorry about that. XO

More great tips, Penny! I know, with all the humans home, kitties need a break!
Thank you 🙂
Chaplin: “You would think with Mama and Dada being home all the time, I would get lots more play time with my wand. But I don’t. Something is definitely amiss here.”
Charlee: “Hey I just realized that you can’t spell ‘Chopra’ without ‘Oprah’. Coincidence? I think not.”
Sorry you don’t get more wand time. Good point on Oprah.
