Hi, sorry we are not wordless today. We are joining In Purrsuit of Flavours hosted by Easy and The Canadian Cats.
Joanie thought she would dress up as Snow White to go with our theme today. Apparently Rosie found it amusing.
This month’s Purrsuit of Flavours theme is Halloween so I thought I would tell you how to make the poison apples I made with The Great One. They are easy to make. All you need is apples, caramel, black food coloring and sticks. You can get branches and clean them to make them extra spooky looking. I found some plastic branches at Michael’s.
Just clean the apples. Our apples were super clean as The Great One loves to play in water so she washed them three times. Then push the sticks into the apples.
Heat caramel in the microwave ( directions on container). Mix in some black food coloring and stir. Then dip apples one at a time in the caramel.
That is all. They are a little messy to eat.

That picture made us laugh (just like Rosie)! Those poison apples look like fun to make. When you eat them, does the food coloring make your mouth black?
Thank you. Yes, they do, but it comes off easily. XO

That’s so easy even my human could do it! I think she needs to invent a cat version. Hmmm…
That would be cool to have a cat version. 🙂
So much fun. I can bat them into place on the cookie sheet. A push here and a swat there and I’ll have a mighty tasty paw.
