  1. Wow, that is a fantastic cloud photo! Long ole time to be without power though, yikes! Very cute pic of Rusty! XO

    1. Thank you. πŸ™‚ That is average out here in the boonies. One time it was no power for 7 days. XO

    2. Thank you. πŸ™‚ It always takes a long time to restore power out here. XO

  2. There were bad storms here on Monday evening, too…lots of people with no power, thankfully ours was good. There was a lot of straight wind damge, too, and trees down on homes, etc. We always take weather warnings seriously, because well they can be BAD.
Great pictures! That sky is boiling…

  3. So far (knock on wood) no power outages here although we’ve had some bad t-storms……the weather is extra strange this year – hopefully it will move out of the STRANGE category and into the USUAL category! Cool cloud photo.

    Hugs, Pam and Teddy

  4. That is a stunning photo! 6 hours is a long time without power, and at least you were prepared with your battery operated lantern.

  5. We are still in a drought situation. A fairly short power outage last month. Usually the storms too it, but with a lack of much rain…we haven’t had much outage. Only 15 inches for the entire year. And it’s close to June.

  6. That’s an awfully long time without power, for a tiny storm.
We had a brief couple of showers, and a bit of wind, but all around us there were trees down, traffic lights out, dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria!
No, just kidding, hope whomever was injured by these lines of storms is okay now.

    1. Ours did not break the heat, but it is supposed to be like 30 degrees colder tomorrow. XO

  7. Looks like you were prepared. Great sky shot.

Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Scritches to the kitties and a big hug to mom. β™₯

  8. My goodness, another power outage? And because of a 5-minute storm? That certainly sounds like no fun at all. I hope it wasn’t too warm and that you all stayed comfortable. And well done, Rusty, on keeping an eye on that lantern! Purrs!

  9. That sucks! Both photos are really cool. XOCK, angels Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid & Sawyer, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Kizmet, Audrey, Raleigh, Gibbs & Tali

  10. A very nice cloud photo… foreboding knowing the storm you had and subsequent power outage. Good Rusty was there to handle the lantern duties. Power outages are tough in both hot months and cold months. We have had some wild lightning the last couple of days. Rain too… woo-hoo! Not enough to bust the drought but hoping it is the start of our rainy seasonβ˜”

    1. Thank you. πŸ™‚ Rusty is always on top of things- usually literally. XO

  12. Great photo! Looks like Rusty was doing a good job of taking care of things during the outage.

  13. Ugh, summer storms that cause power outages are the worst πŸ™

  14. Gracious, that’s a long outage, the storm must have taken down a pole.

At least you nabbed some cool photos!

  15. Bummer about the power outage. That is one cool cloud photo though.

  16. OH, send that photo to the Cloud Appreciation Society….they will publish it I am sure!!! We subscribe to it but you do not have to to get a photo published.
