Hi everyone. Things around here are kind of boring.
My folks are still sad about Penny. I am too.
They finished cleaning out Dad’s sister’s house months ago and got an offer on it right away, but probate (whatever that is) keeps holding everything up.
Being that they are done with that house, my mom no longer had an excuse to tell Grammie she didn’t have time to move her back home so Grammie is almost moved out.
I heard Mom on the phone with her niece last week and it sounds like the kids are going to be here a lot this summer. I guess I need to find some new hiding spots before school gets out June 22nd.
Rusty has a lot of mats because he is too fat to reach all his spots. Every time my mom tries to brush him, he bites her. She told him that she is going to call him Matt now instead of Rusty. I can reach all my spots.
Well, I hope I didn’t bore you this week.

Rosie, everything was interesting, no worries! And that’s such a pretty picture of you! XO
Thank you. ๐ XO
Boring is actually a good thung, Rosie…I hope one day, Rusty lets your mom brush him…maybe he needs a visit with a kitty groomer…
She tries to get some off him daily. XO
Hey hey, reaching your spots is a VERY big talent and we should all learn from you, darling Rosie. Mama is looking for hers now….
Thank you. ๐ I am quite bendy. XO
Relax Rosie, you still have enough time until then…MOL…Double Pawkisses for a wonderful day to all of you๐พ๐ฝ๐
Thank you. ๐ DOuble pawkisses to you both too. XO
Well you should have plenty to do once the kids are out of school for the summer…..meanwhile – GET PLENTY OF REST before that happens! Hopefully that “probate monster” will go away soon and your Mom and Dad can put a period to the house adventure. My Mom has been wondering how your Dad’s garden is doing this year? Will there be strawberries for preserves???????????? Tee Hee
Hugs, Teddy
I will. I hope it does because it makes them grumpy.Dad has cabbage, celery and Brussel’s Sprouts planted. Onions are started and will be put in the ground this weekend. No strawberries- they buy those. XO
Rosie, I’m glad you can reach all your spots. Boring can be a good thing, and probably won’t last long.
I am bendy. ๐ XO
You could never bore us. Probate sounds like a pain in the nether regions. The dog guy gets his cats shaved they get such awful mats. They have really long hair. We are so very sorry about Penny. It’s always hard to lose family.
Thank you. ๐ Yes, it sure is. Tuffy could use a shaving, but mom can’t catch him. XO
Rosie, Granma is moving back to her place! Bet yer mommy is sad about that.
Let’s hope the house gets sold quick and outa yer mommy and daddy’s hair.
But Rusty has mats in his hair.
And yer gonna have kids in yer hair, mol.
Yes, sad and scared. Rusty likes the kids so he wouldn’t mind them in his hair. ๐ XO
I loved Lynn and Precious’s remark about having kids in YOUR hair! Hey, speaking of that, do the kids still hold their clinics?
I hope not in my hair. Yes, The Great One has aged out, but will check in patients to humor The Boy. And Typhoid Mary and The Boy still enjoy it. XO
Better find those hidey spots! Our schools are out after this weekend. Have fun sweet Rosie!
I will. They get out early in the south. ๐
Aww Rosie…it’s not boring and sounds like things are going to get even more interesting, especially when school is over for summer. ๐ผ
Yes, too interesting. ๐
Enjoy the boringness, Rosie while you got it. It won’t be boring when those kids show up!
I will. ๐
School here is out on Friday. You could never bore us!
You are always a lot earlier in the south, but then they go back earlier too. XO
That’s a lot of information and it’s not boring. Informative, but not boring. You’re so cute.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches to all the kitties and a big hug to mom. โฅ
Thank you. ๐ XO

Boring can be a good thing. ~nods~ It’s no wonder you all have heavy hearts. ~hugs~ I hope the lawyer-ese crap gets resolved soon. Be well!
Thank you. ๐ XO
Rosie, boring is good. I love boring. I can always jazz it up some way but too much not boring/chaos is not my thing. Probate is a PIA… I am sorry but it is true. Fingers crossed that probate is over soon with no problems. Your Mom and Dad need to have this house stuff behind them.
Rosie, you are definitely NOT boring!
Yes, my folks said it is that too. Thank you. XO
It’s not boring, it’s routine and a routine can be a good thing.
I’m sure Grammie is going to be happy to be back home. It’s hard to leave your own home and move into someone ele’s home, no matter how much you love them.
The kids are good to you when you do take time to be with them, I hope you will do so more often this summer and see how great they can be.
Yes, it is. We understand about Grammie. And I will try to play with the kids. XO
Boring isn’t necessarily a bad thing! Mudpie let me brush a bunch of mats out of her tummy recently. I could’ve made another Mudpie from the pile!
Good point. Mom wishes Tuffy and Rusty would let her do that to them.
Enjoy lots of naps while the house is quiet. Good update.
Thank you. ๐
Charlee: “Uh-oh, speaking as a long-haired cat who can reach all her spots, Rusty may need to take up aerobics or something so he can limber up a bit. Also, I hope you find some good new places to hide! My favorite is way at the back of the IKEA couch.”
Chaplin: “We hope that probate stuff is sorted out soon! The house next door to ours just sold after being on the market for a week or two. The owner got some crazy high price for it but it is all fixed up inside and out; Mama and Dada went through it when it had an open house.”
We had our offer right away , but the probate is holding the closing off. Rusty needs to stop helping everyone finish their wet food. ๐
