Veteran’s Day

Hi everyone! We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays and Mewsic Moves Me (hosted by Curious as a Cathy, Xmas Dolly, JAmerican Spice and Stacy Uncorked.) The mewsic theme this week is a freebie so I decided to go with some patriotic music for Veteran’s Day. I am thankful to all who serve and have served.

My Dad was in the Air Force.   I use this photo every year of my Angel Lucy posing with his flag and picture.

  1. This post and these songs are such a wonderful tribute to your father and all those who served. Thank you to all the veterans who risk everything for our freedom!

  2. A huge thank you to all who served. I love the picture and the list of songs. The Lee Greenwood one is one of my favorites.

  4. We been celebrating Veterans Day all weekend long it seems, but that’s okay by us. Bless them all for their service, and I totally love your picture with your kitty. Thanks for sharing. The tunes you have chosen are all my favorites.

  5. It’s a beautiful Lucy reminder of an important day…Veterans Day. Mom’s family are all Veterans just about. XXX

  6. We are thankful for all who have and currently serve in the armed forces. Each and every one is a hero. Angel Lucy did an excellent job as a model. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

  7. Your Dad and I have one thing in common we both served in the USAF (I served in 1971-1974) and the Proud son of a WW 2 Veteran of the USAAF! Great tuned for this Veterans day!

  8. Thank you to all who served in all capacities; people do not realize how much we owe these men and women and perhaps we never will. All great patriotic songs. I was fortunate enough to be able to hear Lee Greenwood in concert once.
