Hi everyone! Mom finished my crowns, she made me 2 and I don’t like them! What part of bling don’t you understand Mom?

I know I look great, but I want more BLING! These are just unacceptable. AND the worst part-she made Brody one! He is a mere serf in my kingdom and he gets a crown!
DSCF1531 (2)  And the little monster looks good in it. As you can see, he is pretty calm now. He goes over to Mom several times a day for pets and scritches. Here is a video with him purring ( sorry for the other odd noise, Mom’s cheap camera always has that sound). He gets a little excited a smacks her, but she deserves it for not doing my crowns as I specified.

I am going to see Grammie today. I love her so very much! And being that the title of this is Tummy Tuesday, Joanie agreed to show her tummy.

  2. I think your crowns (and Brody’s) are cute. Sure, it could have a little more bling but there’s a fine line between blingy and gaudy and I think your mom did a great job.
    It’s nice to see Brody getting more comfortable. And Joanie looks very comfortable in that tummy shot!

  7. We love your crowns! We think they’re perfect!!! It’s so good to see Brody more comfy – PeggySue does that hand-smack thing when mom stops petting her sooner that she wants!! Simon says to Joanie, “Hubba, hubba, I love that tummy!” He can’t rhyme. We’re looking forward to our turn with the glasses!!! Its going to be a great summer!!

  9. Sometimes simple is best. Bling is cheap, but class is priceless. When looking at crowns, you want one that complements your beauty but doesn’t compete with it. Plus, the more bling it has, the more others will want to steal it. Wear your crowns with pride, Phoebe!

  10. To much bling on your crown would draw the attention away of you. A beautiful girl like you should be the attention not a stupid crown with bling.
    Looks like Brody is getting part of the family. Good for Brody.

  11. We have the same washi tape as you, but we agree that they need more bling! We do think Brody deserves a crown and looks good in blue.

  17. Me luvs all your fotos and those are some purretty pawsum crowns Phoebe. Much better than me’s mommy coulda done. Da video is really cute. Tell your mommy to be careful of those swats, mommys hand is all swollen up right now cuz Buddy got her good yesfurday when she was puttin’ his food in da bowl. Have fun visitin’ your grammaw.

  22. The crowns are very nice, and Mom can always add more bling as she finds things to add. Brody looks nice, too. I think he will settle down, as he gets used to being petted. Maybe he just gets easily stimulated.
    We would do the glasses, if we could decide who would wear them! XOXO

  25. Those crowns are great!! More bling might ovfur do it…but then you could always use lots of bling, being a purrencess kitty, MOL! Bling might make that crown too heavy though.

    We think its pawsome that Brody allows a crown at all! OMC!!
    He must be quite relaxed to allow that. We love the headbonks and purrs, Maybe the ‘swat’ is to get some more rubs and scritches:)

    2. I like the crowns now 🙂 Brody has come a long way, he is a sweet boy. He likes scritches, but he wants to play too. No one will play with him, he is fairly young 2 or 3 and most cats here are over 10- he is like a toddler in a nursing home.

  28. I agree with everyone else – sometimes LESS is MORE – if you had bling dripping off those crowns, someone would say you’re just showing off! This way you are the royal cat that we all know that you are, but more SUBTLE! Much better than dripping with bling. Brody’s crown is GREAT and he just has the cutest little face…..I think he’s telling your Mom to keep petting him when he swats/grabs her finger…..he LIKES IT! YAY!
