The A-Z Challenge-C

Hi everyone! For the letter C, I have Bad Cat Chris. I am sure many of you follow his blog, but did you know he has a book? I don’t have a photo because I have the Kindle version of the book. Chris was returned to the shelter that Charles Huss volunteered at, but that didn’t deter him from adopting Chris. And now he never has a dull moment. Chris can even open child proofed cabinets.  You can read it for free with Kindle Unlimited, click here.

Back in 2016, I wrote about Casper the Commuting Cat. To read about him, click here.

Time for the Friendly Fill-Ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link ( see below) to the hop so everyone can visit you.

  1. Very cute picture of Prancie, Ellen! I’m enjoying your book series! I intend to set up a Kindle as well as order more print books whenever I become more organized. I intend to get some of yours and I wish you success in getting another book published this year!

  2. Chris the Badcat would be a fun character!

    1. April is a good time to think about what to put in my patio planters and pots.

2.This time last year,I too would not have ever imagined a pandemic such the ,likes of which I have never seen/heard of in recent years.
    3. I am determined to work at my nursing home job as long as I can.
    4. I have no intention of retiring anytime soon (as long as my health lets me.)

    1. Thank you for these great answers. It is a good time to think about planting. This i a scary time. Praying you and your family stay healthy. XO

  3. Awww, Prancie looks so precious in that hat.

Bad Cat Chris sounds a lot like some of mine, but so far my cabinet openers haven’t mastered the baby-proofing.

Can’t wait for the next book!

  4. Fabulous fill-ins guys! Happy Friday and stay well ! XOX

  5. Ellen,

April is a good time to do spring cleaning but I haven’t even begun with everything going on the past couple of weeks trying to get a make-shift work at home office set up for DH. I think we have everything taken care of finally. I hope you’re able to publish another children’s book this year. I wish I were motivated to do anther but I’m holding out to do the illustration myself and don’t have quite the confidence to that yet. Who knew we’d face a global contagion outbreak this year? It’s like we’re in a horror film. I’m ready for it to end, aren’t you? Stay safe & sound. Thanks for hosting the Friday fun, my friend! xx

  6. Such a cute photo of Prancie:) I feel the same way about cats….I’ll always have them in my life. I wish you all the best with your book.

  7. Love all your fill ins and am sure you’ll always have cats in your life. I wasn’t surprised about that one bit.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, Ellen. Scritches to all the kitties. ♥

  8. What a cute pic of Angel Prancie! I didn’t know he had a book out. I’ll have to check it out. You could have done a screen grab of the cover for a photo. Great answers. That’s the way TW Spring cleans. She’s all excited for a week and then that’s it. Actually that’s how she does everything. Thanks for hosting.

  9. Prancie looks adorable in that Easter hat…..love all of your fill-ins – especially the one where you say you will NEVER be without a cat. Any cat of yours is ever so lucky and will always be cared for and loved “to the max” !! I sure hope you DO publish another kids’ book – you absolutely are EXCELLENT at it……………STAY SAFE………..

    Love, Pam and Teddy too

  17. Amen to your #4! Same here. We sure hope you do get another book done…and now is the time to crack down and work on it 🙂

  18. Thank you for your great answers! My sister is very much like you, she loves her cats and she lost one of them, Gizmo, the night before her dear friend passed away. She felt so badly crying about her kitty but he was very much as important as her long time friend was. I told her, those fur babies are our phamilies so never feel guilty about being so sad when losing them . They were a part of you. I hope you remain safe and healthy and I am sending some hugs across the miles. HUGS

    1. I am so sorry about your sister’s friend and Gizmo, thay is so sad. Sending you hugs too- stay safe too> XO

  19. Angel Prancie looked lovely in the hat with ears!
I agree, no-one could have seen such a devastating virus arriving during these times. It is worse to know that no-one seems to know how long it will go on for.

  20. I really enjoyed your answers! I am with you. I will always have a cat (hopefully two) for as long as I can do it. I can’t imagine a home without furry babies.

  21. Chris is such a character. Thank you for sharing his story here! And your fill-ins are fantastic! It looks like 3 of our answers were nearly identical. I didn’t put the same answer as you for #3, but publishing a book is something I am determined to accomplish, hopefully this year. And I love this Easter photo of Angel Prancie. She’s so precious!
