The A-Z Challenge-B

Hi everyone! For the letter B, I have one I wrote about before, Baker and Taylor the library cats, but they are worth another mention.

he True Tails of Baker and Taylor: The Library Cats Who Left Their Pawprints on a Small Town …………..and The World by Jan Louch and Lisa Rogak is a wonderful book. Jan Louch was an assistant librarian at a small town in Nevada when she decided to get a cat for the library. Her and the library director saved money and split all expenses for the cat. They knew they wanted two cats figuring one would be lonely, but they only had the funds for one at first. Luckily, after a short time, the Baker and Taylor company offered to buy the other cat for them and pay for expenses and the rest is history.

Angel Phoebe posed with it back in May 2016.

Back in April 2016, I wrote about Bionic Basil and Bailey the Boat Cat, 2 books I love and own. To read about them, click here.

We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop . I am thankful that I got to do a zoom meeting with my mom, sister, niece and her kids on Tuesday. Joanie even got to meow to The Great One. If you are not familiar with zoom, it is like Skype, but you can have a bunch of people in a meeting. It is free for 40 minutes and after that you can sign back in fr 40 more.

We are also joining  Sammy’s Poetry Day. Here is my poem to go with this photo prompt provided by Teddy’s Mom.

Sure this cabin is rustic and old
maybe the walls are covered in mold.
That doesn’t really matter to me
as long as it is virus free.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

Glad you got some good ‘Zoom-ing’ in with your family!

We had a Zoom meeting this evening scheduled from last week…and I forgot all about it…I was out walking enjoying some fresh air…cause I have to work the next two days. Hubby uses that all the time for his work from home stuff.

  2. Yes, you definitely want to find somewhere virus free!
That sounds like a nice book, and a lovely photo of Angel Phoebe posing with it.

  9. Excellent choices! Watch out for Zoom cos I heard there are a lot of hackers on there and they don’t do anything to make the app safe. Last week was our Aunt’s birthday and we did a virtual party on FB chat.
