Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone. We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Mom is thankful that The Great One is coming over today. I am happy too because I will get lots of treats.

Like my apron? Pardon Dad’s arm. This photo goes with  Sammy’s Poetry Day based on this photo.

Nice country setting,
aprons hanging in the breeze
A chef must live here.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. Mom came up with the first two and Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.
1. My favorite scent is ________________.

2. I hope to __________________ this weekend.

3. _________ is music to my ears.
4. Home is where _________.

One more thing, Mom also wants me to let everyone who donated to Buttons’ surgery to know she is working on those crocheted toys to send you. In case you missed her post, she will send anyone in the USA crocheted catnip toys that donates $15 to Buttons’ surgery. We know that money is tight so please share and pray. Click here.

  1. That apron is absolutely ADORABLE!!!!! We just love it…..and your haiku too. Thanks for playing poetry with us on Thursday……..

    Hugs, Teddy

  2. Sweet image in the apron. And nice poem. Very cute. Today I’m promoting release of a cozy mystery for a blogging friend. Be well, my dears!

  3. Joanie, I love your apron and how fun that it coincides with Sammy’s Poetry Day photo! Great planning! The haiku… yes, someone definitely cooks! I see someone baking a lot of bread… I can even smell homemade bread. Or frying chicken! All I think about is FOOD! I am glad that your Mom and The Great One get to see each other today and TREATS for YOU are a bonus… lucky you, Joanie!

  4. Oh that Apron, is just too cute. And we love the clothes on the line. They always smell so good when you hang them outside. You all have a fine day.

  5. Are you doing all the cooking now Joanie? That’s a really sharp-looking apron. Love the little lace ruffle. You look adorable in it.
Have a great rest of your week.

  6. Those are a lot of aprons. A chef must live there indeed.

I’m all ready for Friendly Fill-ins. Great questions.

Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. My best to all the kitties. ♥

  7. Joanie, you are too cute! Are you headed to the kitchen to cook up a niptastic meal? And your poem captures the quaint feel of this photo so well. And, of course, continued purrs and prayers for Buttons! I can’t wait to see your fill-ins, and everyone’s fill-ins. We’ll see you tomorrow!

  8. Seriously, you look beyond adorable in that wee apron, Joanie! Since I’ll be traveling tomorrow, I’m going to fill-in today:
