Sometimes you can hardly stay afloat
wishing you were on a boat.
Then you open your eyes
and see that you can improvise.
After a little rest
a lifeboat may come from the west.
And here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for Friday. Mom came up with the first two and Annie of McGuffy’s Reader came up with the second two.
