Hi everyone! I am joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I got to see my Grammie on Wednesday, I love her so very much.

I am thankful that when Mom brought me to the vet Tuesday, they didn’t steal my blood. I just got a B-12 injection and an anti-nausea one. Mom talked to the vet about those and being that they are safe, I can get them every 14 days. The vet checked me and I wasn’t dehydrated so I didn’t need fluids like the last time.

I am thankful for The Crotchety Cougar Club, a place where all my olderĀ  lady friends and I can complain. Please read about it on Kali’s blog. And please pray for Kali because she hasn’t been feeling well. I am thankful that we gained two more members this week ( they are not listed yet on Kali’s post, but will be added soon).

I am also joining Sammy’s Poetry Day featuring the letter F.

Family
Some say family has to be blood
I tell them to jump in the mud
My folks and I don’t share DNA
but for my health they always pray
Brody may drive me nuts
but I love that little putz
Family are those that love you
no matter what you do

  8. Such a wonderful poem today for “F”! Family is very impawtant – we take care of each other through thick and thin. We are lucky to have family as some have none. Your “thankfuls” are right on too! We are hoping Kali feels better soon…..all that smoke from the fires up their way probably doesn’t HELP anyone feel good – it’s bad to breathe that all the time…….we hope for an end to the fires there and everywhere – fires are so scary. Anyway, nice to see Prancie and Brody being BUDDIES!

  13. I am so glad those vampires didn’t steal your blood this time, Phoebe. And though I know I’ve already said it, I am loving this idea of The Crotchety Cougar Club. How fun it must be! Now this human simply has to ask, Phoebe – where did you get that Kitty Monroe art you’re posing with? It’s pretty darn pawsome, and even looks like you! Oh, and fantastic poem (does Brody know you called him a putz?)!

  33. Phoebe, we’re glad you are doing okay and the vet didn’t steal your bloods. We get B12 shots too…the mom gives them to us. She says it’s real easy to do and we don’t even feel it when she does.

    We are very fortunate to gave Ali and Sarabi as new members. I haven’t felt like doing much but will very shortly. What an awesome poem. Light yet so true…we are not blood but we treat each other as more than family. We are one when we’re all together.

  35. I’m a little concerned that your Crochety Cougars Club is a big jinx. I realize all members are 15+ but everyone seems to be getting sick since it’s been formed. Healing purrz for everyone.
