Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

I am thankful for all my beautiful Christmas decorations. I am working on putting things away now except for snowman things. They stay out until February. I have been taking a lot of photos because I have decided to use Christmas for my A to Z Challenge theme this year.

We are also joining Angel Sammy’s Poetry Day.  And here is the photo prompt provided:

We all had a wonderful Yule
now the kids have gone back to school.
The peace and quiet is bliss
we can celebrate with a kiss.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

  1. I enjoyed seeing the pretty picture with the Christmas decorations being so colorful. It is always sad time to put them away. Your phone is extremely cute this morning, I really enjoy seeing the prairie dogs kissing.

  2. We put away our Christmas things yesterday. We put them the day after Thanksgiving and take them down after Jan. 8, the day my hubby’s dad died. Your poem is very cute.

  3. Peepers hasn’t started puttin’ away the Christmas decorations yet. She never puts ’em away before Little Christmas. Well that was last week. Paws crossed they’re down by Valentine’s. MOUSES!

  4. That’s a good thankful and we enjoyed your cute poem too. Thanks for joining Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

  5. Adorable photo and poem! I love my Christmas decorations too, and I’m not ready to pack them away yet.

  6. Love your adorable poem…again we did something similar. XOCK, angels Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta & Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh

  7. I don’t decorate like I used to. A string of lights on the house, some holly clippings on the mailbox and front door. My Good Neighbors across the street fill up their whole front yard and have projectors that move big snowflakes across their house, so I think they do enough holiday decorating for both of us. LOL!

I saw a meme where a house was decorated enough to be seen from space. And their neighbor put up a sign pointing to them that said “ditto”. That cracked me up…

They took down their’s Friday, so I turned off my houselights too.

  8. We love the christmas decorations, Ellen and such a great idea to take pictures for the challenge. That poem was really cute for such cute guys🐭🐭Extra Pawkisses🐾😽💞
