Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am thankful that Brody’s local vet was able to fill his prescription because I was tired of waiting for the specialist to send it to Walgreens. Also, thankful our neighbor works at the vet and delivered it to us so we didn’t even have to go to town to pick it up.

And very thankful he took it with the pill pocket without a problem.

We are also joining Angel Sammy’s Poetry Day.  And here is the photo prompt provided:

You are still my brother,
even if you are from a different mother.
Sometimes I might give you a whap,
but you are the only one with whom I will nap.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.
1. I always turn up the volume when ___________________________ comes on.
2. I change the radio station when ______________________________comes on.
3. Once I finish _________ I can _________.
4. _________ is a tradition I always follow.

  5. Brody, I am SO glad that’s settled and that your Mom got a nice break what with the neighbor bringing your meds to your house. XXX And your poem was exquisite. Mom did her first one ever, over on Sammy and Teddy’s page.

  6. Chaplin: “That’s good news about Brody’s prescription, and that he would eat the pill pocket. Sometimes we cats are pretty discriminating about that kind of thing. Unlike dogs.”
Java Bean: “I’ll eat a pill in a pill pocket! Or in ham! Or in butter! Or in cheese!”
    Chaplin: “See what I mean?”
Oona: “Oona likes that picture from the prompt! Headlock! Wrestling fun!”
    Charlee: “I don’t think it’s a headlock, I think it—”
    Oona: “WRESTLING FUN FOR OONA!!!”

  12. Good news! I wish Brody the best of health. Your poem is cute; it makes me wonder if they are instead brothers from another ‘father’. 😉 Momma cats don’t have it easy, do they? Hugs, my dear.

    1. Thank you. 🙂 Yes, it is odd that a mama cat can carry from different tom cats at the same time. XO
