Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am thankful to all who sent sympathy cards for the loss of my sweet Emmy. I am also thankful for all the kind comments, e-cards and badges too.

Once again, I skipped the poem. My mind just hasn’t been in poetry mode lately between losing Emmy and now my niece and I have been sorting through my sister’s belongings so that has been difficult.

Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

1. I enjoy making _______________________.
2. I can’t stop ___________________.
3. I need to figure out _________ before _________.
4. I may not _________, but I do _________.

      1. That’s not very fun, but it’s necessary, and easier with just one. I have 4 children and understand how valuable your help is!

  1. Purrs, prayers and lot of hugs from everyone here, Ellen. Grieving takes its own time and is different for everyone. It should not be rushed. 🌈🐾 ❤️

  2. We know it must be hard going through your sister’s things………glad you have someone to do that with though. Sending you hugs……..

    Love, Pam

  3. You have my sympathies. Sorting through people’s things after they go is the worst. You’re never ready to do it.

  4. Sorry I’ve missed so much, Ellen. Selfish of me, especially since you’ve been such a good friend. Take care, and stay warm with the temps up there these next few days.

    1. Thank you. No worries on missing things I know you don’t blog often. The wind is awful- I am hoping we don’t lose power.

  5. Hi Ellen
I don’t see my comment from last night. I happy your niece has you to help her with Vanessa’s belongings. May you both share good memories of her during this time.
    Hugs cecilia

  7. The beauty of blogging is that you can do whatever you want, whenever you want to.
If time is short or the heart is unwilling, you can just skip a day or two, or whatever works for YOU.
    We all understand…yes we do.
