Thankful Thursday

We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am thankful for my family who are always there for one another. I am also thankful for EMT’s, police officers and AAA. As I wrote before, someone in my family is very sick, my sister. I am thankful for the care she received when we had to call an ambulance. Only one of us could go into the ER, so my niece ( her daughter) went in and my mom and I waited in the car. We somehow ended up with a dead battery and even though it took them 45 minutes to show, I am thankful for AAA. Also thankful my cats were safe at home with my hubby catering to their every whim.

I can’t do a post without a cat in it, so here is Brody.

We are joining the poetry day named after Teddy’s angel brother Sammy ‘s Poetry Day. Here is the photo prompt provided.

There was a man and a woman who lived in a shoe,

they had so many cats, they didn’t know what to do.

So they spoiled them all rotten

and none were ever forgotten

Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

1. A pleasant memory that I have from grade school is ___________________________.
2. My plans this month include _______________.
3. Please don’t ask me to choose between _________ and _________.
4. In _________ years, I see myself _________.

Hope your sister will. be well, soon.I know what its like having to send your loved one to the hospital with the ambulance…but yes those EMTs and the police and firemen who help them are so kind and helpful. They always know exactly what to do.

So glad you were able to get an ambulance quickly when needed but sorry to hear you had to wait outside the E.R. and the car battery needed a jump. These things happen at the worst times! In spite of all you’re going through you wrote the PERFECT poem – it’s perfect because it’s about YOU and DAVID and your “house of kitties” !!!!

    Love, Pam
