Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! I am joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am thankful that Grammie was here on Wednesday, I love her so very much. I am also thankful Mom bought me 2 bags of catnip Greenies that I don’t have to share. I am also thankful that my Purrince sent me this photo -isn’t he the most handsome boy ever? I am a lucky kitty girl.

Mom caught me with my tongue out, she thinks that is funny.

And here is my poem for Sammy’s Poetry Day, featuring the letter V.

Blood thirsty vampires are everywhere
they breathe the same air.
They look just like women and men
we get fooled time and again.
They wear a veterinarian disguise
so next time you see one scratch out their eyes.

Sorry, I got a little dramatic. I know they are going to steal my blood again next week.

And here are the Friend;y Fill-ins for tomorrow. They would love to have more entries so I am begging you to join in the fun, please. Mom came up with the first two and Annie of McGuffy’s Reader came up with the second two.

  2. Wow, Phoebe, that WAS a dramatic end to your poem! Actually it was ALL dramatic – anything with vampires is!

  3. We MOL’d at your tongue, Phoebe! You must have been in a love trance about Sid-Henry sending you a love card:) He is a sweetheart, isn’t he?!

We think your vet peep had better wear purr-tective goggles when next you go there…OMC!

  4. Phoebe, good job sticking out your tongue. That was a very nice card that Sid-Henry sent to you. What a lucky girl you are, for sure. You all have a great day.

  5. You and your purrince are such a purrfect pair, Phoebe. Something else that is purrfect is your poem. Vampire, the true definition of V-E-T, that’s for sure! Also, that is one adorable shot of your tongue, Phoebe!

  6. Great poem and photos! I look forward to reading your fill-ins. I’m going to pass. For starters, I am not a fan of cereal and my prom blew chunks. ~grin~ Happy Thursday!

  7. My favorite cereal is Frosted Flakes.
My Prom was great junior year. Senior year, not so much. Had a stupid fight with the boyfriend. LOL
The great thing about cats their loyalty. It’s not like a dogs, it’s more subtle, but it’s still there and carries so much more meaning.
I cannot help eating chocolate but I don’t care. I love it!

    1. Thank you for your answers, I like to learn more about readers.I am the same way about chocolate. I agree about cats too 🙂

  8. HAHAHAHA…..that’s so funny – you’re right though – there are vampires in those vet offices and they must REALLY like our bloods because they take them every time you visit just about!! EEEEK! Thanks for being in my Poetry class today….you get an A+!!!!

    Love, Teddy and Angel Sam

    1. Awww…thank you, that is quite the compliment coming from Angel Sam who is the best poet ever. XO and love to you both.

  9. Phoebe,
    OMCs…”They wear a veterinarian disguise
so next time you see one scratch out their eyes.” that was a good one.
Love the poem too just the right amount of drama
    Hugs madi your bfff

  10. Oh I wish they didn’t have to steal your bloods! Your Mom caught you with a tongue stickie outie for sure! I am glad your Grammie visited and brought surprises just for you!

    Dezi and Raena

  12. Phoebe…sending you purrs and prayers for your next blood letting. You sure made it sound scary in your poem. Your Purrince is definitely handsome, and he is such a romantic. Lucky girl scoring two packs of treats just for yourself. You have a cute little tongue! Humans just love seeing our tongues for some reason. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy

    1. Thank you. I am a lucky girl except for having to give blood- phooey! XO

  13. We do not understand how to participate in the Friday Fill-ins. We are cats. Does that matter? Snoops and Kommando Kitty

    1. A lot of cats participate, sometimes they let their humans answer some of the questions. We hope you join 🙂

  14. guyz…yur vampirez poem two day total lee rockz….we noe dracula N all hiz kidz ore what ever they iz called… iz lovin thiz one… coz they iz knot …de vet…

    deer cod…………..they iz knot….R they ??? 🙂 ♥♥

  15. Heeheehee! That poem, well, Tripod SissyCat (the one who lost her front leg in a dog attack before we got her) feels that way about the vet, too. She was just getting a shot!

Sticking your tongue out like that is funny, too.

    1. I am a lucky girl. My Mom is afraid of vampires since she watched Salem’s Lot as a child.

  16. I love your poem and your sweetheart’s photo. You are one lucky girl ♥ I hope the vampire vet doesn’t take too much blood.

  17. I had to biggify the photo to see your tongue in all it’s glory. I like how it’s a little sideways!

  18. We often wonder why the vampires all gather at the VET’s offices……something to think about!

We glad you spent time with your grammie and got treats!
